7-string version of Jazz Model SH-2.
A classic moderate output humbucker, the SH-2W for neck position is not only great for jazz, but also country, blues, funk, classic rock, and heavy rock. The SH-2W provides an articulate and clear tone. Great for fast runs. The brighter tone has slightly less output and is a good match with most bridge pickups. When distorted, the tone is full and bright. Smooth sustain. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable. For balanced and warm instruments. Works especially well with mahogany bodies and rosewood fingerboards. Also works great with hollow and semi-hollow body guitars.

Comments about Seymour Duncan SH-2W 7-STRING PICKUP:
I bought this pickup to replace my stock neck pickup in my seven and pair with a SH-6 bridge pickup. I wanted it to nail two sounds primarily, A glassy ambient clean and also a searing lead sound. After installing it I was pleasantly surprised by the sound and also how it pairs with my bridge pickup. After playing on it quite a bit it does both of those really really well. The cleans are definitely there and really react to your volume knob. The leads when boosted sound killer. Stock with the volume maxed they still sound good but I was hoping for a little bit more output. Nothing a decent boost pedal wont solve. Another great thing is this pickup sounds awesome when coil split. It has a really dynamic single coil quality that I feel sounds great.
