OVERVIEW

No more loose guitar jacks.

The Allparts patent pending Bullet Guitar Jack Tightener is a must-have accessory for every guitar player. The patented Grip-Tip holds the jack while tightening, preventing damage to wiring and solder joints.

Similar products require additional wrenches or tools to work, and are made of metal which can scratch and damage your hardware and finish. The Bullet has everything you need in a quality plastic tool that fits in the palm of your hand.

With the Bullet at your disposal, you'll never take your jack plate off again to tighten things up.

Tighten or loosen your guitar's input / output jack with no other tools, and without jack plate removal, in three easy steps:
1) Position the socket head around the nut on your guitar jack.
2) Firmly push the Grip Tip down onto the guitar jack opening to hold it in place.
3) Use the swivel handle to tighten or loosen the nut and the jack.

I wouldn't recommend anything else as this seems to be the only tool that's specific for what it does, and it does a terrific job. I would recommend that they change the material in the mouth at least to be steel.
Bought this for my Jackson SL2H. The input jack keeps on getting lossened. Saw this tool and decided to buy it to solve the problem. It works perfect! Constant 4-6 hrs playing and two group practice and it's still in place.
Looks sturdy, although it's made of tough plastic. I'm giving it a 9 hoping that they would build this 90% steel. Totally understand that you need to use plastic on the part that holds the jack, but the rest should be steel.
Great value for your guitar, but again being made of 100% plastic, I think for the material, it's a little bit overpriced.

Does not work on most guitars

I purchased this to help tighten the jacks on several Ibanez and Jackson guitars. This does not even come close to fitting any of them, as it is entirely too big.

You may be under the impression that this is made out of high quality material. It is not. Even without ever using it for what its intended, its cheap plastic that couldn't last more than 2-3 uses.

I recommend this to anyone who enjoys wasting money.

    Single Purpose Tool

    By ChuckT

Comments about Allparts Bullet Guitar Jack Tightener:

I like to carry a toolkit full of tools that do more than one thing. My needlenose pliers hold things and will also cut strings, for instance. Sometimes you need a single purpose tool in your gig bag. This is one of those tools. I may only use it once a year, but I am confident that my jacks won't ever get swallowed into my guitars. This is especially important for my guitars with recessed jacks, like my Strat and Tele. Other similar tools require you to also use an open-end wrench. This takes care of the task in one unit.
Light weight and well made out of ABS plastic. Very ingenious design.
A real timesaver. Works great on recessed jacks.

Comments about Allparts Bullet Guitar Jack Tightener:

This small tool fits in a guitar case or gigbag and can be a lifesaver on a gig if a loose jack is detected.
Small, handy little device. Holds jacks secure while tightening the nut.
    Plastic construction. Seems well made.
Inexpensive tool that can be worth its weight in gold if a jack needs tightening on a gig.

Doesn't fit a lot of guitar Jack nuts. Does a fine job on my Squier Thinline Tele (the reason I bought it), however doesn't work on much else.

This does not work on my Ibanez but works great on my Epiphone.

I think with a little better thought put into it this could be a great product. The way it is it's only half of a great product. It does hold the jack in place.

It doesn't fit at all in recessed input jacks hex nuts! It barely fits over non-recessed guitar input jacks hex nuts.

            Piece of jumk!
