Gives your tremolo 3 modes of operation.

The Allparts Tremol-No is a patented device that is added to an electric guitar equipped with a tremolo/vibrato unit. It allows guitarists 3 playing options:

1) tremolo unit "on" — in this position your tremolo functions as normal. You can raise or lower the pitch of notes with the tremolo unit.
2) tremolo unit "off" — in this position, you'll enjoy the benefits of a hardtail bridge, where the tremolo unit doesn't move at all; no lowering or raising of a note's pitch via the tremolo system, and the other strings remain in tune should you break one of them.
3) tremolo unit "dive only mode" — in this position, you can only lower the pitch of notes. If you break a string or drop tune the low E to D, the other strings will stay in tune.

The Tremol-No comes in three versions: Pin-type (our sku# H71947), Clamp-type-large, (our sku# H71957), and Clamp-type-small (our sku# H71941). Please see the "Tremol-no works with chart" document attached for details on choosing the right one for your tremolo.

Comments about Allparts Tremol-No Tremolo Locking Device - Large Clamp:

Does what it says. I can retune my guitar just like a stop tail in seconds. Works well with my PRS.The only bad thing is that you have to leave off your cover to use it and the thumb screws need a little lock tite. One of mine keeps getting loose. It does come with spare screws. Kinda a pain to install on my PRS. I had to remove some foam to make it move smoothly and the PRS spring pins are super tight so I accidentally scratched the finish pulling the springs. It would have been way easier on my Ibanez Floyd. Well worth the price.

Comments about Allparts Tremol-No Tremolo Locking Device - Large Clamp:

The Tremol-no works exactly like it should. I installed it in my PRS 513. No damage to my guitar and its not a permanent modification. When the trem is fully locked it is very secure! And when it is unlocked you cannot tell its even there.

Comments about Allparts Tremol-No Tremolo Locking Device - Large Clamp:

After a string break in the middle of a worship set this past Sunday sent my PRS CE22 into the Land Of Alternate and Awful Tunings, I took a friend's recommendation and ordered this unit. It arrived today, and I installed it tonight. Installation went smoothly, partly due to my having watched a truly useful installation video beforehand. After the Tremol-No was installed, I locked my trem into place, tuned up the guitar ... and then snapped a string with my wire cutters. Amazingly, the guitar was still in tune, and a new Tremol-No fan was born!!

Only con I can think of right now is that, at least on this large clamp version of the unit, the clamp partially covers the holes into which strings go. If you turn the eyelet just right, the string still goes in (and comes out), but the instructions for aligning the clamp don't really warn you to watch out for this.

My buyer's remorse for purchasing a guitar with a trem system at all appears to be coming to an end.

Comments about Allparts Tremol-No Tremolo Locking Device - Large Clamp:

This is a great solution to the problems of a floating tremolo ie. going into dropped d and alternate tunings, unison bends, other tuning issues. I have used this on a Zion w Floyd Rose and my PRS CE-24. It does work exactly as intended. My only complaint is that the bar used to stop the trem from moving can not be moved from it's spring location. Also, you also must know how to setup and intonate your instrument. For me it was relatively easy to do both, however the way my Floyd Rose springs were set, I had to change the configuration. Intonating a Floyd is a real pain in the brain. But now that they are done I am a happy camper! I think it is the best trem blocking system out there and I like how you can set to either block it completely or just divebomb with the turn of two thumbscrews.
