The cable quality is excellent, the velcro piece for keeping them coiled or limited in length is awesome, the plugs however are decent. If you're not gonna leave them lying on the floor, plugged in all the time where they get jerked on or just generally are a neat person who takes care of things, don't worry about the plugs....as for the rest of us who are rough on our gear, even cables, the plugs are sturdy but vulnerable to the typical brutality we put cables through. I mean they're certainly not weak or poor but they just can't endure your typical musician's carelessness. I have one that is over a year old and that has one plug that is going bad but it still works. Likely I can just repair it rather than replace the plug entirely....even if you do replace the plug, you can get really high quality plugs for like a dollar. The cable quality alone makes them worth buying then simply fixing down the road. I've had a Fender cable of this type for 6 or 7 years now and have only needed to resolder the plug. All in all they are a great buy and easily repairable if the plug breaks. Even if you need to repair one in 3-4 months, you'll still have saved a lot of money and have an ultra high quality cable.

I got this cable cause I needed one and I loved the translucent red color. I had it for only a few months when it stopped working. It would flicker on and off--really touchy and messed-up. It was especially annoying at band practice!! Well, I decided to open it up and re-soder the wires to the tip. After that it worked great until a few months later when it stopped working again--I opened it back up and realized the same thing had happened; the wires had become disconnected. I was very disappointed.

You simply cannot find a better deal. Instrument cables are simple devices. Basically a long conductor. There are some design choices you can make to improve performance, but for most applications the parasitics are negligible. The most important thing you want is for the cable to be shielded, which most cables available are. Mechanical build quality is another issue, but there isn't much that can go wrong there. ALL CABLES are susceptible to having broken connections near the jacks, so instead of complaining that the cable broke you should just learn to fix them yourself. These cables look nice, wind up cleanly, come with little velcro straps, shielded, and are easy to take apart should you need to repair them. Don't waste your money on fancier cables. It won't improve sound, it'll cost WAY more, and they are just as likely to break and fail on you.
I bought these cables over two years ago. They've been stomped, run over, and chewed and never failed to work. These cables are great not only for practice but gigging as well.
I've been using these cables on stage (20' and 25') for several years now. In that time, one has died from overuse and abuse. Having my own color of cables compared to the rest of the band makes setup and breakdown easier. At the moment I have three cables and I'm on the site today to pick up a few more, so I have spares and a few different lengths. At these prices, I can't complain.
I bought one of these cables at my local music shop and it's terrible. This cable not only falls apart ALL THE TIME but it also gets a whole bunch of kinks and stuff in it. Save your money and get some other cable. ANY OTHER CABLE.
This was a great cable; there was not much buzzing or hum, until about 4 months into use. It quit on me right in the middle of a practice. If you're looking for somehting cheap and good for short term use, this is the cable for you.
I got the red one and it works great and it gets stepped on and pulled every which way. Gunna but another 3 today. great cord.
I got the transparent red cable, let me tell you, as soon as i opened the box, i needed sunglasses!!!!!!! It's like Neon Red. Great noise free cord. GREAT!!!
I bought these cables (2 neon blue 20ft) because I had troubles at shows where I couldn't see my black cords on the dark stage. These solved that, but about a month after buying them the soldering broke on one end of the cable. I was mad, but it was a quick fix. all together I'm happy about my purchase and will be buying more soon.
This cable has been AWSOME for me! I have had it for about 6 months and it hasnt failed me yet. The sound probly isnt the best u could get but for the price of it i think it is a great cable. I got the yellow and red one. The red is even cooler than it looks on the computer but the yellow one is kind of an ugly mustard-yellow, so i wouldnt recommend the yellow. But overall this cable is GREAT!
This is a decent cable for a GREAT price. I bought the 30' model, which gives me a lot of freedom to roam. The sound quality is very good for a bargin priced cable. I've put it through about 14 months of abuse and it's going strong. My only complaint is that the metal ends unscrew, not a big deal though. Good product.
