        Our new TV is set up for HDMI sound but we aren't. Unfortunately, this means we plug our stereo into the headphone jack on the TV and have to control our sound this way. The adapter at least makes it so we have stereo sound.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          Comments about American Recorder Technologies 1/8" Male Stereo To Two RCA Female Adapter:

          I purchased 6 of these adapters (gold plated) and are currently using 5 of them on 3 different computers. I'm keeping one for a spare for my 4th computer.

          They are great for hooking up the inputs or outputs from your sound card to your mixer, especially if you have plenty of RCA patch cords laying around, as I do.

          The only problem I found was they are a bit too wide to use two of them side by side, for example - using both the line in and line output jacks on either the onboard sound card or the PCI sound card at once.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
