Soldering Iron

Comments about American Recorder Technologies 40 Watt Soldering Iron:

I've usd it to replace pickups on a Stratocaster, resolder a hot wire on my bass, and put in a neck humbucker on my Mockingbird, and it works well. Heats up in about 3 minutes.

what can you say about a soldering iron? it gets hot. the handle doesn't. my new pickups sounded way better when installed with this iron than the old ones did with the old iron, so it's like magic. right?
