Easy to use spring loaded clip with enough pressure to keep a mic in place. The swivel goose neck is a great feature that allows you to position your mic in any direction. I've used these specific clips on many different kits with ease. Only one time over the past 6 years have I encountered a problem where the spring loaded clip on did not fit the rim a drum, that was on a custom set of Shine Drums. With the goose neck however, I was able to clip the mic on a seperate drum piece and bend it to where it should be.

If you don't use these to clip your mics on drums then what are you using???

Despite the relaltive ease of attachement the mic holder places the drum mike considerably inside the drum head making it difficult to play in various positions. They are difficult to position correctly as the upright arm is stiff and not very flexible. Audix makes a nice set of "clip-on" holders which are much easier to use than these...the one's I use came with the drum mic set. If you can find these..Use 'em. They are much easier to use and more flexible. My D-vic holders are going back up for sale on e-bay..

      Audix D-Vice, just say no

      By D.A. Norman

      from Seattle, WA

Comments about Audix D-Vice Drum Microphone Clip:

I love Audix drum and vocal mics. That being said, do not buy the D-Vice drum mic mount. It does not work. No matter what I tried the mic would move every time I hit the drum, ending up resting on the drum head or rim. I cannot recommend this product in any way. I still love and use Audix drum and vocal mics.

              AWESOME

              By Anonymous

Comments about Audix D-Vice Drum Microphone Clip:

I bought two because I couldn't afford them for all five of my toms. These things are awesome! If your reading this then you probably know how annoying cheap drum mic clips can be, like the ones that come in drum mic packs. Sturdy, stiff, and flexible, you can get these on any drum (including die-cast hoops) with any angle and they don't budge. They work with any mic, assuming you have the actual clip that holds the mic. Highly recommended for those tight spaces on a kit.

Comments about Audix D-Vice Drum Microphone Clip:

These mic clips are not very good, first of all, you can hear all the viabrations of the drums through the mics. then, they dont stay. there make everything too limited. i sugjest getting some stands...it will reduce the noise of the mics.

              Broke 3

              By Scott-tw4w5

              from Atlanta, GA

Comments about Audix D-Vice Drum Microphone Clip:

I like the idea of these, but they are not that sturdy (the section that attaches to the drum is plastic). I've bought 4 for our church, 3 have been broken so far and had to be replaced.I also have noticed that the mic can get dislodged from the neck and twist around while playing. I will probably buy stands instead (it'll be cheaper in the long run.
