Isolates speakers and amps for superb definition and clarity.
The Auralex Gramma Amp Isolation Riser has 2 - 2" x 4" x 23" isolating feet that attach to a 15" x 23" carpet-covered platform to float speaker cabs and maximize output while minimizing transmission of sonic energy to the floor. The underside is lined with purple Auralex Studiofoam to prevent cavity resonances. The riser's low 3" profile and discrete gray finish blend with any rig. One Auralex Gramma will support most guitar amps, stage monitors, and small bass rigs up to 300 lbs. Combine 2 Grammas to isolate large subwoofers and bass rigs.

What a relief it was for me when I purchased this simple yet effective product. I live on the 3rd floor of a condo and I was concerned about the distictive bass vibration on the floor I was getting from my guitar amp being on the floor. I placed the Gramma under my amps and the problem vanished. Not only is the floor not vibrating harmonics to my neighbors underneath, the sound from the amp is now cleaner and free from unwanted resonances.
I use these for floor monitors and for bass cabs. They separate the speakers from the structure, which improves tone and clarity. My studio is small and in the basement and this helps the sound quality a lot. They are worth the money (unlike the auralex hoverdeck drum riser, which works but is WAY OVERPRICED!). I also reduced reflection by strategically placing studio foam, quilts, etc., on the walls to soften reflection.Hope this helps !
The GRAMMA from Auralex is the best money I ever ever spent on musical gear. Since buying the unit 4 years ago I have never had a boominess issue on big stages, which used to be a constant problem. My amp is free to create the tone I want on stage I love this product.
