I play a lot of gigs and do session work. A friend suggested bullet and I finally decided to give it a try. I have used all the cap type make you own cables and they all come loose. The Bullet plugs don't - finally someone got this right. It does take a few minutes to make them and it easy. It was the first time I made 10 cables and every single one worked the first time!
They sound clean and fine as they say.

I bought these of the reviews. I made 4 cables and only 2 worked. Not sure what I did wrong I did them all the same and 2 didnt work. I re-worked on by removing the jacks and re-cutting the cable but I didnt work again. So thats why the review is low for me.

I have used Bullet Plugs and Planet Waves DIY kits and they are exactly the same in how they assemble and the size of the cable. There are two differences: 1) The Bullet Plug barrels on the angle connecters are about 1/4 inches shorter than the Planet Waves making the Bullet Plug only slightly easier to use when making a cable to fit a very small/tight area. 2) Planet Waves is slightly less expensive. Aside from that there is no difference, both are great products anmd you don't need to worry if you can make these cables, it is so easy you won't believe it. I have made 16 cables so far and every 1 worked the first try. They did make a slight difference on my overall sound because there is less cable in my signal path and the impedence level of the cable is lower than pre-made 6 inch patch cables. I definetly recommend these over pre-made cables any day!

I bought these to use with my white red cross Bullet DIY Bulk 10' cables so I can customize lengths and connector ends for my home studio and gig setup. These Slug angle connectors are top quality and still small enough to fit in tight spots. I bought the 10 connector DIY Kit because the individual connector's back order keeps getting pushed back and I suspected the only way I'd get these at all was if I got the kit.

Easy to make. Noticeable difference in tone and noise reduction with these cables. Seem to be well made...used on pedaltrain...I was skeptical of cables not being soldered...impressed. Clear instructions..packaged well.

Wont be long before you get enlightened by these plugs and cable. This is just the coolest kit to wire up a pedal board. I only use 5 pedals total and never really thought about moving up in the patch cable offering. I thought they worked just fine but my endless love to mess with my rig got the best of me.
These where super easy to make. My rig is so clean man it looks like pete cornish made it!
They sound good no noise other than my normal gain. It is a regular size cable and the plugs feel solid. Check em out if you have even a few pedals makes a big difference.

Bought these after a full restoration to my peda lboard with the pedaltrain pro and voodoo labs pedal power 2+. I was first skeptical about these really making a difference. Hearing mixed reviews about how expensive cables dont make a difference. However, I think they need to do test on signal and tone strenth with cables going though numerous pedals because these made a difference. They did not get rid of a lot of noise like some reviews have been stating, but my tone was more clear, better defined and easier to listen to. The old 1/4 connectors seemed to suck my tone. And as a bass player, having muddy tone effects makes bass pedals sound awful. These not only made my board look organized and professional, but really made playing through my pedals more enjoyable, especially with my fuzz and distortion pedals. After looking at all the other connector kits these seemed to have a better reputation. If Gearman Dude approves then I approve. One downfall would be how many cables you actually are able to make. Because I had over 5 pedals, I had to buy two cases. It would make no sense to just do half my board with these. I would have liked to seen a value pack of 20 connectors with a total of 10 cables. Over all, if you have pedals and care about tone, it only makes sense to get the most out of the money you have spent already by buying these.

I had a mix match of patch cables that was ok but it was not very clean. I never really gave it much thought but after seeing so many boards wired correctly I knew it was time to man up.
The Bullet cables are ridiculously easy to make. Pretty small too I have a little more room on my board now. But the best thing I noticed was my tone sounded louder and a bit fuller. Somehow I think all those cheapo cables where choking my signal. Basically all the claims the bullet folks make about the cable being better is not snake oil fellas. I can hear it!
My board looks nice now super clean like it was done by a pro. If you do any gigging at all or want more out of your tone check this kit out you wont regret it. and Gearmanndude rocks!
Best cable I have ever used for my pedal board.

Seriously every part of this kit was handled with care. The plugs, cable and even the box where top notch. Super easy to make these. I dont know why I dealt with odd patch cables for so many years.
