This 10" 60W ceramic magnet speaker has been voiced to produce the unmistakable Celestion vintage tones. Pushed hard it has plenty of growl and performs with very solid bass, muscular mids, and an extremely articulate top end. In addition, the G10 Vintage employs a 1.75" round copper voice coil, has a frequency range of 100-5500Hz, and sensitivity of 97dB (1W @ 1m). Golden sand finish.
The G10 Vintage is the natural evolution of the well-respected Vintage 10. Closer to the sound of the Vintage 30 than its predecessor, the G10 Vintage still maintains a distinctive tonal flavor of its own. All of these speakers use the same voice coil designs and similar ceramic magnet structures to achieve their familiar, hard-rocking Celestion sound.

I bought 4 of these Celestion G10 Vintage speakers to put in my Peavey Classic 50 4x10. The stock Blue Marvel speakers sounded good on clean tones, but were harsh and congested sounding on overdriven tones. So I was hoping to get good non-harsh clear top end sizzle with these speakers because that's what I get with Celestion Vintage 30s (which I use with my Marshalls and my Peavey Classic 30). I am very pleased to say I'm 100% satisfied with the results. With overdrive tones I get a very clear crisp sound, yet with lots of good midrange growl and deep tight bass. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone who is needing 10s.

This was possibly the single biggest change in performance of the modest SCXD. It sound like a 12" vintage 30 with a bit more bite at the top end. Its a great speaker. Handles plenty of wattage for any small combo. I would highly recommend this if you have a Super Champ!

I purchased this vintage 10 for my Fender Sidekick Reverb 25 amp. It's old but still kicks so good I blew out the original speaker. So this was a replacement. I immediately noticed the volume increase...LOUD! A little thin on bass but cranks out some good Blues tones with treble turned down low, mids and bass up high. Overall I love the tone and it is a GREAT replacement speaker over the original Fender speaker.

I have been debating for the past few months on whether I should spend money on a speaker upgrade for my Fender Super Champ XD. Almost every review I saw suggested pairing the Super Champ XD with the Ragin Cajun, so I set out to a local guitar store to get one.Unfortunately, they did not have one in stock but suggested that I try the Celestion G10 Vintage instead. I decided to get it just to be different and whoa!!! Definitely a great choice for this amp.Less than 10 minutes of installation and I was able to enjoy a much louder and more fuller sounding Super Champ XD. The amp also seemed to handle more gain from my pedals better. The only downside is that my amp is just a bit heavier now.

I put one of these in my Fender Super Champ XD.I wanted to put a Vintage 30 in but there isn't enough room. I LOVE the sound that this little baby can produce! It did color some of the amp modeling but I turn down my guitar volume to keep it from breaking up too quickly.If you like that crunchy rock or blues sound, and only have room in your combo amp for a 10" speaker this is the one.
