I put two of these into a 1983 Fender Concert II, and it was a real improvement in the overall tone of the amp. I'd been through a number of "name" speakers in this amp, but found my tone with these. They handle lows well, and have a nice clear top end. All the web sites list these as 30 watt speakers, but I emailed Celestion and they say it's a 40 watt speaker. It SAYS "40W" right on the magnet. Maybe MF will be the first to get it right. For the price, you can't go wrong buying these speakers!
