The Clayton .80mm rounded triangle picks are the best picks ive used in 8 years of playing guitar. I play mostly metalcore these pick are perfect for speed picking, galloping, shredding..everything. They have good tone also while playing acoustic compared to similar picks. They might be a little weird to play with the first day or two but im so used to them now, regular picks seem small. I scratch an X on each side for added grip, but i dont find that a bad thing. Clayton .80mm Rounded Triangle BEST PICKS EVER.

What was still in the shipping box work very well.
More than half of the picks had came out of the torn package they are sold in and slipped through the outer box.So I only ended up with about 4 picks. The rest are in another state some where. It would be nice if Musicians friend would replace the missing picks, but I won't hold my breath.

    Fantastic picks

Comments about Clayton Acetal Rounded Triangle Guitar Picks:

I've been all over the place with different picks, companies, gauges, you name it. I stumbled on one of these and I loved it so much. I use the 63's and they work with whatever stringed instrument I may pick up. I would recommend you try these out first. Try to find someone who has these and borrow one and take it for a spin. I love how it has so much more surface area than a regular pick, and it really helps with fast runs and really good pinch harmonics. I use these live, because there's less of a chance of dropping these. But for recording, I use the Dunlop tortex jazz picks, just because I like the feel for that situation. Also, these picks just look badass.

Comments about Clayton Acetal Rounded Triangle Guitar Picks:

I've used all kinds of picks over the years and have found these to be the best for my style of playing. I play mainly rhythm guitar and prefer something with a softer touch when strumming the strings. They are thick enough to work when playing small lead parts but mainly they help to produce a smooth even rhythm support sound that doesn't overpower the mix. I have several thickness sizes that I use in the Clayton brand. The .63's are the ones I use the most.

Comments about Clayton Acetal Rounded Triangle Guitar Picks:

I've been experimenting with many, many (you're welcome MF) guitar picks in the last few months, and I wish I had tried these sooner! They are some of the most comfortable picks I've ever used, and I like them better than even my favorite Gator Grips. They give a nice smooth tone, and they are very durable! The acetyl polymer that's used in these is different from other materials out there used for picks. Just enough surface "grip" (for lack of a better word, but they are not coarse) to make the strings sing. Plus they're dirt cheap! I got these in the .80mm size to use on an acoustic electric with hybrid strings and they work great for both strumming and picking.

Comments about Clayton Acetal Rounded Triangle Guitar Picks:

I started using these picks on the recommendation of online teacher Tom Hess. They are very stable at higher picking speeds. The acetyl material grips well. The pick is big for a lot of surface area for grip. The triple points make the picks last along time since you can change to another tip after wearing another one down.

Comments about Clayton Acetal Rounded Triangle Guitar Picks:

This pick is a pretty good pick- its slighty larger than your average common pick. It does not have any special properties to prevent slipping but I like the fact that since its slightly larger it seems to feel good in your fingers and gives a sense of control. If this pick had some sort of anti-slip surface I would then say its possible this pick is the perfect pick.

I use these for base. I pluck pretty hard and I've never needed to replace for wear, I just tend to lose them. For extra grip (i play Ramones type, very fast down stroke), I put a small piece of blue painters tape (masking tape) and it does the job. My friend pays 5 times what I do for same pick with extra grip, 5x the amount of this one.

Comments about Clayton Acetal Rounded Triangle Guitar Picks:

I use the .80mm triangle pick for bass, and it's just the best. I've tried MANY different picks lately to see if I could do any better, and I ALWAYS come back to the Clayton .80mm triangle picks. I play mostly speed/thrash metal, and the pick gives terrific control when shredding those heavy gauge strings. Thick enough to strike heavy bass strings with ease, and flexible enough to not wear your hand out in the process. The material last for an incredibly long time, too. I've used this specific size/brand pick for nearly 20 years, and will continue to do so!
