The Clayton .80mm rounded triangle picks are the best picks ive used in 8 years of playing guitar. I play mostly metalcore these pick are perfect for speed picking, galloping, shredding..everything. They have good tone also while playing acoustic compared to similar picks. They might be a little weird to play with the first day or two but im so used to them now, regular picks seem small. I scratch an X on each side for added grip, but i dont find that a bad thing. Clayton .80mm Rounded Triangle BEST PICKS EVER.

The picks are fine. The delivery was terrible. First package that was sent was....empty. No picks, just an invoice. Getting a replacement set took four emails and two phone calls, WAY too much time for such an insignificant purchase. I just bought a Larrivee PO9 online with less hassle than these stupid picks. You can be certain that I won't be returning to Musician's Friend after this first experience. I shudder to think what it would have been had I actually bought my guitar there? Would you have sent me an empty case?

Comments about Clayton Acetal Rounded Triangle Guitar Picks:

I was torn between the Tortex and Clayton. It's really a personal preference. I just choose these because I learned to play with them and never had a issue. My only complaint is that the edges wear rather quickly. Buy maybe that because of my picking style.

Comments about Clayton Acetal Rounded Triangle Guitar Picks:

I've always had to use triangular picks because I constantly dropped the teardrop-shaped ones. The tips broke off traditional picks. I lose my Claytons before they wear out. I prefer the tension of the .63. I've used the .50, but they are just a little too "soft". If I was a picker instead of a strummer, I would move up a thickness or two, but the .63 is the perfect pick for me.

                  The .63 pick

Comments about Clayton Acetal Rounded Triangle Guitar Picks:

I like the .63 because there's not much out there any better. I do where it out in one day, not years like other people say. Sometimes they chip but usally they just round out and get sharp. The only other pick I use has a Turtle called a "Tortex" by Dunlop, and is Orange, also a .63.

                  Best picks I know of!

                  from Florida, and the World

Comments about Clayton Acetal Rounded Triangle Guitar Picks:

I would go through at least 20 or 30 times as many regular picks as these. They're white (easy to see on a dark stage), and the Clayton logo looks like Harley-Davidson. They also fly great (it's all in the wrist), but you won't want to throw any away. Buy a dozen of these, and they'll last you for years, absolutely. My HIGHEST recommendation.
I use the Clayton Acetal rounded triangle, .50mm. I've been playing over 40 years, and these are the ideal extension of my fingers, whether playing the trickiest passages or windmilling like Pete. The points eventually wear down to being a little rounded, but it takes a long, long time, even if you try to grind them down with long ending tags on songs. .50 is light enough for them to have a little "give" and "snap," but they practically never break, even when playing acoustic guitar or roundwound bass. There's plenty of pick to grab onto, and the three identical points means that they last three times as long as a standard shape, just for that fact alone.

The absolute bezt pick for rhythm guitar! I use the .50mm for rhythm and it is WONDERFUL! The wide top allows you to get down and dirty without slipping out of your hand when you're sweaty! I suggest the .50mm pick to any rhythm guitar player!

Comments about Clayton Acetal Rounded Triangle Guitar Picks:

I've been all over the place with different picks, companies, gauges, you name it. I stumbled on one of these and I loved it so much. I use the 63's and they work with whatever stringed instrument I may pick up. I would recommend you try these out first. Try to find someone who has these and borrow one and take it for a spin. I love how it has so much more surface area than a regular pick, and it really helps with fast runs and really good pinch harmonics. I use these live, because there's less of a chance of dropping these. But for recording, I use the Dunlop tortex jazz picks, just because I like the feel for that situation. Also, these picks just look badass.

                  Good Picks, I'd use them

Comments about Clayton Acetal Rounded Triangle Guitar Picks:

Of all the Clayton Acetal made picks, I like these the best. I've posted a review for the other shapes of this brand and material (Acetal). I'd prefer the 1.0 mm gauge if I ever went back to these. However, for acoustic playing, I would use the Clayton Ultem made picks .94 mm instead, because these white Acetal picks don't really have enough bright snap to em. I do recommend these for Bass also. Right now, I'm sold on the Dunlop Ultex Sharp .90 mm for most all six string playing.
