    Better than Jazz IIIs

    I got the picks wanting to try something new. I wasn't expecting much but these things have cntinually impressed me. These things wear much better than Jazz IIIs, are better for going from string to string and are pretty nice for rythm playing too. This pick finalized my love for Clayton picks, this and their ultem standards are all I use now.

    I switched to these after using some Fender jazz picks for my bass. After using these for a while, I can't switch back. Maybe because my Fender picks were too thin, but I'm going to continue to use these Claytons.Strangely, I don't feel comfortable using jazz picks when playing a 6-string guitar. For that, I use Fender 351's, but I love these Clayton jazz picks for my bass.

    I like the Black Jazz better than the white acetal. The Black Jazz are a BIT brighter (despite the name). I tried a whole bunch of thicknesses and the the 1.52's are the ones that get the most play. Perfect combination of stiffness, power and tone. I love them.

    These babies are awesome! Better than that cheap brand I was using. Great tone, withstand heavy abuse. Good for jazz, boogy, blues, and some types of rock.

    I got these picks the other day in the thickest size, 1.9mm. They are by far the best picks ive used for guitar. They make regular fender clears seem like a joke.
