I haven't had the problems with the image wearing off that others have mentioned. I'm not keeping them in a showcase anyway. I find they have a wonderful grip and I use both the mediums and the heavys. Ever since Dunlop stopped manufactuing my favorite pick I've used these without regret. One thing I particularly like is that they down shave down to a sharp edge with use but instead the point wears away. If don't drop and lose it in the dim lights of a bar gig one pick usually lasts me through a four set gig with no problems. Price is okay but really, picks should be priced to be more disposable and losable than they are. But since you gotta pay what you gotta pay I don't mind spending my money on these. And people think they're cool looking. Me too.

Obviously these picks aren't meant to be used. The image rubs off completely about the third time you play with one of these. After I ruined one by actually playing my guitar with it, I decided to leave the rest alone and use my other picks for playing. They're very cool looking -- just don't expect to be able to actually use them.

Good picks, I'm not going to use them for picking though. I'm going to display them with other picks in my noise room.
Comments about Clayton Hula Hottie Guitar Picks 1 Dozen:
I've used these for years and never noticed the image coming of any of them.. but then I've never bend them and tried scratching it with my finger nail.. probably get the same result with any pick.. then once you bend any pick.. you might as well throw it away any way. Point is.. these are great picks if you want to play guitar with them, and you just like thee image. Pick the strength you like and they are as good as any pick on the market.. If you are having trouble with your pick, you just might need to practice your guitar playing a little more. If you want a different image..get a different pick.. or I guess you could bend these and scratch the image off (according to some)..lol
Comments about Clayton Hula Hottie Guitar Picks 1 Dozen:
I find it very hard to believe that people are actually concerned that the image wears off of these. Guess you're kinda new to this guitar thing. Hot tip: it's going to happen to all of your favorite picks if you actually use them to play guitar. Go back to Guitar Hero kids.I use to use Fender mediums until they changed the type of plastic they were using years ago. Theses are now my "go to" pick. The mediums are perfect in every way. Clear tone and a good grip. I would say a dozen lasts about a month for me - But I have never broken one like the old Fenders. I get a ton of compliments about the images on them... that's just the frosting on the cake. These are very reliable and resilient.

The imprint on these picks is so poor you can bend them and then just scratch off the design with your finger nail.

I bought the Heavies and after a month the image is just fine and they sound good too. They are kind of slippery, but that may just be the dryness of my hands this time of year.
Comments about Clayton Hula Hottie Guitar Picks 1 Dozen:
These picks produce a very nice clear tone. They look great, but the image does wear off after a few weeks. But even if the image does wear off, so what, you still have a very clear sounding pick. I highly recommend these.

Comments about Clayton Hula Hottie Guitar Picks 1 Dozen:
I picked up a pack of the thins the other day and they're really sturdy. They last the way my thin Dunlops do when it comes to the songs I just strum like crazy on. The thin Fenders always break on songs like that. But I just started playing with one yesterday and the graphic on the front is about 50% gone. The picks look cool even without the graphic, but I bought them for the graphic. I still like them because they're really shiny and they don't break. I might try to put on something on it to keep it from wearing away so easily.
