This is one heavy slide! Since I play mostly hollow-body electrics and low-action acoustic guitars I tend to go for ceramic slides, but found this one to be too heavy and slow for my liking ... kind of like running with leg weights. It is very well made, and the corrugated interior is a nice feature, although the fit is tight. Overall not my favorite slide and I'll probably use it only for resophonics rather than lighter-touch acoustics or electrics.

As I was leery of the available sizeds offered, I orderd this ceramic slide through a service rep. He did not know why MF didn't list any comparable sizes other than S, M, L (e.g., ring size), nor did the mfr's web-site. Since I have small hands, I ordered the small - not good. I couldn't get the slide past the second knuckle on my left pinky; and since it's a short slide, that didn't leave enough coverage to use across the entire neck. It's not supposedly returnable and I'm not going to bother as the shipping plus insurance isn't worth the hassle. Sounds OK, but since I can't use it across the entire neck, it does me little good.
