Play longer and sound better with micro-treated, corrosion-protected strings.

Cleartone electric guitar strings have a coating of only one micron that's more durable than coatings thousands of times its thickness. It won't flake off with hard playing, nor will it feel slick or slippery to your touch. Super-high-tension winding over a hex-core is used to maintain tuning consistency throughout your performance. Cleartone guitar strings feel and sound like an uncoated set yet last a really long time, giving you what your playing demands: uncompromised tone with an incredible lifespan. Cleartone guitar strings feature EMP (enhanced molecular protection), a unique, micro-thin coating that protects your replacement strings against corrosion. EMP Treatment is applied to all the light top/heavy bottom Cleartone strings.

Comments about Cleartone Micro-Treated Light Top/Heavy Bottom Electric Guitar Strings:

I've been playing electric guitar for four or five years, and I've finally found strings that I really like.
I tried GHS boomers, Elixers, DRs, Cleartone lights, and now these. The GHSs sounded good for about a week, but they they started sounding horrible and dull as they wore out. The Elixers always sounded horrible. They had a terribly dead sound. Hated them the whole time I had them on. They didn't feel very good on my fingers either. The DRs were alright, but still had that dead sound of a coated string. Then I put on a set of Cleartone 10s and it was definitely an improvement. They feel a lot better and have a much brighter sound. They don't sound like a coated string, and they're not! They're "treated." I like the way they feel and sound a lot better than coated strings, plus, no flakes!
Then I decided I'd try the light top - heavy bottoms. And now I think I'm done looking for my favorite strings. The light top - heavy bottoms give a lot more zing to your power chords. I play a lot of alt metal with heavy rhythm guitar, and it really makes the power chords big and full-bodied. But then when you switch to lead, you don't have to fight the high strings to bend them, because they're the same gauge as 10s. The increased gauge size on the lower strings doesn't bother my fingers a bit. It also helps to cut down on fret buzz, especially when tuning down to drop D C# or C. It just sounds incredible.
They will start to sound just a tad duller after a couple months or so, but it's a lot better than any other strings I've tried. I probably change strings at least every six months, but hey, that's fine with me!
Out of all string brands I've tried, I like Cleartone best for electric, and out of Cleartone, I like the light top - heavy bottoms.
Great sound, good clarity, great feel, fairly long lasting. Tone that just lights up your guitar.
(FYI: Playing on an Epi LP standard into a Bad Cat Cougar 5. Genre: Hard rock, hardcore, alt metal, metal, alt rock, and a little bit of worship songs.)

Best guitar strings I've ever played.

Comments about Cleartone Micro-Treated Light Top/Heavy Bottom Electric Guitar Strings:

My guitar tech turned me on to these strings. A little expensive - but not ridiculous like some. It took me over 20+ years of doodling around with guitars to figure out I liked a lighter gauge on the top then the bottom. I just so happen to figure this out at the same time I was turned on to "Cleartone" strings. These strings are beautiful. Noticeable difference in tone.
