Comments about Cleartone Monster Heavy Series Nickel-Plated Drop C# Electric Guitar Strings:

I've tried many sets of strings from the DR DDT's to Ernie Ball custom heavy sets to deal with my 24.75" scale guitar in Drop B tuning (as well as Open B & Open C). They fit the bill nicely!! Also, I think Cleartone is making the best coated strings. Elixir's are too muddy for my taste. These seem to be more transparent - although obviously not as bright as a fresh set of stainless. I probably won't try these in C# as they seem to have just the right tension in Drop B - any higher and I think they'd be too tight to be comfortable.
