OVERVIEW

Silky feel, brilliant tone, and incredible string life.

Gauges: 9-11-16-24-32-42

Cleartone Electric Guitar Strings are made of nickel-plated steel over a hex core. A unique treatment called EMP coats the entire string with an ultrathin protective film. It's the thinnest coating ever applied to guitar strings (less than one micron!) and will withstand more abuse from hard strumming than coatings 1000 times thicker! EMP ensures longer string life by protecting strings from corrosion due to skin acidity, salt, and moisture without compromising feel and sound. Made in the USA.

FEATURES
  • Thinnest coating ever!
  • Dramatically increases string life
  • Protects strings from corrosion
  • Withstands hard strumming

This is high-tech you don't have to understand to appreciate. Order a few sets today.

Okay... for a while

Comments about Cleartone Nickel-Plated Super Light Electric Guitar Strings:

These strings seemed good at first. I liked the feel of the coating, but soon it was gone. I spend time playing the same songs over and over to get it right. Anywhere I bent the strings they would turn black and almost hard. It's impossible to play fast when you have a smooth coating interrupted by crusty feeling parts. They lasted about a month before i practically tore them off my guitar because of frustration due to the fret buzzing that they caused, even when they where the right gauge. There's no way i would use these strings again especially for the cost, very dissapointing.

Comments about Cleartone Nickel-Plated Super Light Electric Guitar Strings:

These strings are absolutely amazing. I was always a fan and proud user of Elixer strings, but I figured I would try these. So glad I did. I won't ever go back to Elixers. I play pretty heavy metal, and these strings handle the tight low end and produce the scorching harmonics every player deserves to hear.

Sometimes in an emergency I buy strings on the way to a gig, but I always come back for Cleartone because they are the best.

      Twangy

Comments about Cleartone Nickel-Plated Super Light Electric Guitar Strings:

These were twangy, bright, and thin sounding. Not good tone at all. I purchased them for one of my backup stage guitars so I could leave them on for months at a time without the air and humidity at shows corroding and blackening them up (since it's rare that I need to use my backup guitars). No so good. I remember using Elixer nono-webs and don't remember them sounidng like this...except the Elixers seemed to break too easy. Both Elixers and Cleartone have a strange feel due to the coating that seems to grip at my fingers and slow me down. My suggestion: buy the cheapest strings you can and simply change them every gig. The cheapest NEW strings sound and play better than even the most expensive set of strings that have a gig on them.

      Lasted So Long!!!

Comments about Cleartone Nickel-Plated Super Light Electric Guitar Strings:

I a rock guitarist in traing, so I needed a set of strings that could last a really long time. I was skeptical about shelling out this much for a single set of strings, But it's been 3 1/2 Months and they still sound just as good as they did when I first put them on, with no signs of wear depite the hard bends and abuse and they sound great on any electric. They may not be the best value, but these strings have so far convinced me that they're definitely worth it. You won't be dissapointed, I guarrantee it!!!
