I own a 1982 b.c. rich nj series rave edition warlock 4 string. For the longest time I couldnt travel with my bass because I didn't have a case for it and couldnt find a gig bag that fit it. Then the coffin case became available on here and I bought one. I have to say hands down its the most durable case I have seen. Aside from those hard plastic cases "rich" people have you will not find a better case. One of the locks is broken but then again after having the case fall out of a 4th story window onto concrete I must say that only having a damaged lock is incredible. My bass was in perfect tune and took no damage and other than the busted lock there was no other visible damage to the case or guitar. Great investment if you have a "non standard" style bass or guitar.

These cases look very cool and if you just need something to keep your guitar or bass in at home, these are great. I leave mine at home with a spare bass, but our guitarists have used them on the road for over a year. They have held up pretty well, BUT we do have to be very careful with these cases because they aren't as heavy duty as the others we take on the road. Overall, you can get a more sturdy case for the money, so if you want this case, you're really paying for the look. If you're rough with your gear, these aren't the cases for you.

Great Case

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

I have a BC Rich Warlock Platinum Series. I've dropped this case with my guitar in it so many times and my guitar still looks like new. For quality I put 4.5 because the case can get a little beat up but its still an amazing case and looks awesome.

I don't really like to Discurage people from buying certain things but this is one acception. I Bought this Case for my Bronze Warlock and It did not fit. It might fit the BC. Rich Bases but the electric Guitars do not fot in this Case. But for the Price it's not a Bad deal. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Excellent for Bizarre Basses

By TaciturnBadger

I have had quite a few basses over the years, and recently have gotten into the stage factor of the "crazy shaped" basses. The biggest drawback to these, however, is finding cases to fit them if one doesn't come from the manufacturer. This case, however, seems to fit the bill for even the most bizarre shapes. My Dean Metalman - with the Explorer body and oversized "wings" headstock - has proven to be the biggest problem. This case has fit it perfectly, with only one teeny tiny modification on the accessory compartment. The axe doesn't move a millimeter and the case fits beautifully. Plus, what better way to parade around a wildly-shaped axe than in a wildly-shaped case?

Low Quality

By IronHead

Sure, looks great on the outside, but it won't last. Cheap vinyl is attached on the outside. Electrical tape is more durable than this stuff. Styrofoam padding and very thin fabric. The Warlock will not fit properly!!! Advisable to avoid.

It's o.k.

I to bought this case at my local music store, but only because I had to. You see, I needed a case for my Jackson X series RX10D Randy Rhodes V, incase you guys didn't know, this bass case also can hold a Jackson V the main reason I don't much care for it is because it's sort of big when I carry it to school, and the fact my Dean won't fit the shape of the case.

Very Poor

By IronCore

Very low quality. This thing won't survive more than 2 days on the road. Very cheap vinyl, very cheap hinges, very cheap interior, very HIGH price. Worth very, very little.
