This bag fits my warlock's body like it was built for it. The guitar looks classy, a morbid beauty to it in the coffin. I feel very good about how my warlock sits in the bag when I carry it.Features: 4.0 It has an accessories case, could use 1 or 2 more, since there's space, but that might detract from the overall look. Big enough for a medium sized cord, tuner, picks, etc.Quality: 4.5 Great bag, wouldn't trust my warlock in any other bag, period.Value:5.0 For this quality, I'm not sure how they can turn a profit on 'em.Overall: 5.0 Value, price, look. You can't get anything like it, this price or triple.
Okay, so its a coffin, that gives it major kudos. The construction of the bag will keep things light where it can, and give it more than enough protection from knocks and dings. Sturdy nylon will hold up, and the velvet will keep things safe inside the case. Pretty much the only bag you should ever have to buy. Money well spent.I only give it a 4.5 for features, because it's only good enough to carry map directions to your gig or something. Other than that, this is hands down, the best bag, and most esthetically pleasing one, on the market.
I bought this thing because I had to start lugging my bass(es) to school everyday for a music class and I wasn't going to drag it in a hard-shell case in the crowded halls. I have several basses ranging from Big to Tinny and this thing holds them all perfectly... I even put in a cord and a tuner in their and nothing has never been damaged in anyway. Every morning I throw it in the back of my van and then strap it to my back and carry it around all day. It?s comfortable, it gets attention (being that your carrying around a coffin on your back), and it?s great for your basses of all kinds, AND the price is amazing. Get this thing. I use to use it for my far away gigs and it did very very well, for a while, until I had to throw it in with my drummers disassembled set and it was thrown around to much. But still, get this thing.
My warlock fits great in here. It's padded well, I love the removable storage case I keep all my picks in it. I like the outside pouch too. It's got a comfortable velcro closing handle, and straps. I've never been a big fan of the straps on gig bags cause the neck sticks up and I never use them so I always cinch them up but the slack hung on the floor and it would always pull the bag to the floor if I stepped on it. So I put some velcro on the back of the straps, works great.
I have a Warlock bass, and the top of the neck sticks out of this bag. With other basses/Warlock guitars, it's perfect, except I wish it had more space for tuners and pedals and stuff.
I just got my body bag today and was thrilled to see it in person. The bag is sturdy and has a great plush inside- definitely a more 'supreme' gig bag as far as they go. The inside pouch that is removable is great for holding picks and other small tools, etc. My only complaint is that the bag is a bit heavy due to the extra reinforcement in the lining, but it's a small price to pay...
I totally love it. It protects my 5-string bass and believe me it's the only thing that you want to buy. Nothing is perfect... just the backpack stripe hurts when you carry it on your back. I just wish it'd be a little softer. But hey, it's perfect for this price!
