Conquest cable + Switchcraft plugs = a quality instrument cable. Lifetime Warranty too! You can waste your money on "boutique" cables if that makes you feel better. While those cables are good too, why would you pay 3X+ more than these great cables?
I bought several lengths of Conquest cables in 1994, and they still sound great...a few have gone home with other musicians by mistake, so I've bought a few more over the years. Still the same great quality. I keep my receipts, but I don't ever expect to need them. GREAT PRODUCT!!!
I replaced all of the (instrument) cables in my rig with these. Our SINGER (who will tell you he has no ear for anything outside of singing) looked at me and said, "Dude-Your guitar sounds awesome today." This cable will improve your tone ten fold.
I've used a lot of cables over the years, and almost every brand I've used has broken within 6 months or less. Fender, Horizon, even Live Wire cables have disappointed me in the past, however I have used a 20 foot horizon cable for over 3 years now. I've ordered some more to outfit my rig further, and expect no problems in the future from this tough and incredibly hi-fi cable. I will be using Conquest cables till the day I die.
I got my guitar conquest hush cable about 2 months ago and it seems more tone comes out of my guitar and with that comes more sustain "crunch" that i like so much with my set up. I run through a peavey windsor half stack and i play an Epiphone les paul plus top (transparent amber). Bottom line is GET THIS CABLE you won't regret it.
This thing is horrible, the day i recieved it in mail, i used it to plug in my guitar, and one of the heads just snapped off and got stuck in my guitar!
Wonderful instrument cable! Quiet & clear, lays flat and recoils without a hastle. Have had one for over 15 years. And they warranty it. Keep your receipt folks, that's all you need for the warranty coverage! And they STILL use Switchcraft connectors, imagine that!
These cables LAST! I purchased a 10' cable just over 10 years ago. No pops, no crackles, no lost signals. In fact about the only thing wrong with it after all this time is a small split in the shrink-wrap. Spend more if you want to, but in 30 years of playing I've not had better or more reliable.
Waste your money on "Botique" cables, which make silly claims or just look pretty. These cables are no nonsense.
