The best acoustic strings for the buck! I have tried many many brands,but these are by far the most consistent
tone reliabe, stay-in-tune phosphor-bronze sets I've used. My go to set for the past 15 years, presently using them exclusively on my prized Collings D3.
My schedule as a singer-songwriter and working musician has me going thru 60-70 sets per year,
so I need reliability in string performance...
The only thing better would be an endorsement!

Contrary to some other reviews, I think the box travels well and does not pose any sort of problems when removing the strings. I keep the strings dry in a gig bag or work box to avoid shelf life issues.
High quality strings in a box that travels well and keeps me playing for months on end? Perfect. I have been using these strings in this box for about four years now, and I have never been let down.
They were already my favorite strings. Excellent playability and longevity.

This is a great value for music schools. We purchased this product because it is a bulk package and as a donation to a public school music program. They kept running out of strings and this package allows the teacher and student to pull the specific string, or restring the entire guitar.

The prior reviewer mentions "because with this box you touch most of the strings when you're pulling the string out". In actuality, when you do as the directions say and pull each string out individually (holding the others of the same guage back if needed), you never touch the other strings. Possibly if you reside in a humid climate, these may not have a very long shelf life though. Otherwise, not having to deal with wasteful packaging and the unwinding of strings is a very positive thing.

I bought this pack at the beginning of summer, its now Feb. and I'm a little more than halfway through, I change my strings pretty close to every two weeks. These strings are great and the box it comes in has held up being tossed around a bit. The only thing is the strings aren't sealed in bags.buy the 10 pack if this is just for you as an individual. The sealed packs are much better suited for a shelf life. because with this box you touch most of the strings when you're pulling the string out.if you go through strings fast or this is for you and a few buds, or multiple guitars. this is a great buy for the price
