The FREE Planet Waves S.O.S. Guitar Tuner pulses two out-of-phase LED light beams directly onto the vibrating string. When the string is out of tune, the two lights will visually dance on the string being tuned. As you approach in-tune status, the movement slows down and eventually stops when you are perfectly in tune. This visual tuning system enables precision tuning in silent or noisy environments, without the need for audible sound or sensing of any kind.

When i started playing about five years ago for about a month or two i borrowed by brothers accostic and didnt have to worry about the strings because i never changed them and they were fine. Then i went to guitar center and bought an accostic guitar. The strings that came with it were really bad sounding and way to thick. So my brother told me to try these strings and i havent found a better set yet. Some people might think there too light though but i dont. If you dont like extramaly light strings like these you shout get the EJ16s or highter d addario strings.
