Comments about D'Addario EJ26 Phosphor Bronze Custom Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

For some reason , even though I usually use Martin SP's , I decided to take a chance and order a 6 pack of these. Man do I ever regret that decision. Every set that I put on, only lasted 2-3 days tops, due to the fact that they would lose their tone very quickly. Also, they don't have that bright sound which I like to have on my Acoustics. I'm disappointed because when I was playing electric, D'Addario was the only brand I would use but, their Acoustic Strings are just horrible and a waste of money as far as I'm concerned.

Comments about D'Addario EJ26 Phosphor Bronze Custom Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I replaced the original strings on a 99.00 guitar I picked up new at the pawn shop. This set sound brighter and don't seem to stretch as much as some cheaper brands I have used in the past.

I love them and will probably use these from now on.

      Great Strings!

Comments about D'Addario EJ26 Phosphor Bronze Custom Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

      Great value.Great sound. Great strings
very good quality. for beginners just starting to restring their acoustic the color coding of the strings is great.
Great value. some will say elixer. but, d'addario strings are the EXACT same. just without the coating of elixers, which means not fuzzing

Good strings, but get the exp version for linger life.

Comments about D'Addario EJ26 Phosphor Bronze Custom Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I can't sat enough good things about D'Addario strings. Every so often, I try something different just to confirm that they make the best strings. They just seem to keep their tone and last so much longer than the other brands. As I said before, go for the exp versions and get even longer string life.
Your basic acoustic strings. I do like the custom light gauge.
D'Addario makes great strings. Great tone. Some of the longest lasting strings I've ever used.
Great strings, but spend the extra couple bucks for the exp strings. They will last much longer.

      ..."They're okay, but..."

Comments about D'Addario EJ26 Phosphor Bronze Custom Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Not enough depth and clarity. Moderate volume. Maybe I'll try the higher guages to see what happens.

      Review

      By Anonymous

Comments about D'Addario EJ26 Phosphor Bronze Custom Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I've tried a LOT of different acoustic strings looking for a good balance of light strings with a lot of body that you get with thicker strings. This is a really good balance. The strings have a great, brilliant sound and last a long time. On top of that the price barely dents the wallet. Try a set.

Good mellow sound with moderate volume

      By Jim M

      from Evans, GA

Comments about D'Addario EJ26 Phosphor Bronze Custom Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Good sound with moderate volume; not bad on the fingers, but a little noisy on upper strings when sliding from chord to chord.
