Comments about D'Addario EXL110-7 Lite 7-String Electric Guitar Strings:

I use these strings on both my 7 strings and I love them. Have tried numerous companies but I always seem to come back to these cause no other strings feel as comfortable and are as durable as D'Addario

Comments about D'Addario EXL110-7 Lite 7-String Electric Guitar Strings:

These have been my go to strings for sometime. They are always nice and bright with great tone and the little extra thickness on the 7th string helps add a little thickness on the tone.

Great clarity and tone. D'addario makes some great quality strings in my opinion. I have been using them for years and will continue to do so. I'd recommend these to anyone from the beginner to the professional. Thanks again d'addario!

Comments about D'Addario EXL110-7 Lite 7-String Electric Guitar Strings:

I've been using D'Addario for 29 years now. I've attempted to use other strings, and ended up using Ernie Ball for a few years, but came back to D'Addario because I love the tone and that they really hold up and keep that bright sound I love. This is my preferred set on my Peavey Devin Townsend Signature PXD Vicious 7 String Baritone.

Been using this brand of strings for about 20years now on my six strings. Never been disappointed. They were my first to go to when it came to my new 7. Happy with these. Tried others, but these just fit my style.

Comments about D'Addario EXL110-7 Lite 7-String Electric Guitar Strings:

I have tried most other brands of strings (GHS, Ernie Ball,DR) but I keep coming back to D'Addarios. They just feel better (and last longer) for me. Once I got a Ibanez 7-string, of course I went to my favorite XL110's with an added low B string. The D'Addario 7-string set used to come with a .56 gauge for the low string, and that didn't work so well (I used to go buy a .60 and swap it out). But eventually they realized the string was too light, and they beefed up the low B to a .59, and now they work fantastic. These strings offer the best value in my opinion.

Comments about D'Addario EXL110-7 Lite 7-String Electric Guitar Strings:

I am a long time 7 string player, and I can't name a time where I haven't purchased these strings. I keep one guitar in B Standard, and these strings seem to be made for that. However, my main tuning is drop A, and the .59 seems to be a little weak, even on a 26.5" guitar. If the set came with anything over .60 (.64 would be ideal), I would never question it.

I always trust D'Addario. Elixirs are too expensive, Ernie Ball makes "slinky" strings, which seem counter productive, DR break too easily, GHS feel cheap and don't last long, and everything else (Circle K, Labella) are impossible to find.

Been using these for 10 years ... my first set of strings were the Slinkys and I went through 3 sets in 2 months ... and when you 15 its kinda tough getting your folks to buy rock n roll strings. bought these and never had problems with em ever .. and now touring on a newby band budget these strings rule same ole formula as it was 10 years ago . these things will take an entire summer of sweat squeals bends uppicking and what ever crud you can put on these ... So for all you beginners still tryin to jam on your Rants Wallet ..buy these ..6 Stringers .. use all but the smallest string ... promise these will never break .. if they do your doing something wrong
