Comments about D'Addario EXL111 Balanced Regular Light Guitar Strings:

we have never recerived the guitar stringd. the tracking number was looked at to see that the strings went from Pierre, SD to Watertown, SD. THEY NEVER LEFT WATERTOWN, SD. I did contact the postm office, and they said they would look into it. then called back and said they had not located any package, but would put an alert out for the package. i have not heard from them again.

i have not received any strings

Bright, but not jangley .. sounds great with chorus or distortion.

Comments about D'Addario EXL111 Balanced Regular Light Guitar Strings:

I was surprised to find that such a small change made such a difference in the sound. These strings sound a lot like the EXL 110's of course, but brighter without the tambourine jangle you might expect. I flat pick and the tension balance makes it easier to prevent one string from dominating the others. It's liberating. I am going to make up a set of 11's for my semiacoustic, since D'daddario hasn't caught on to what a great thing this is.
The idea is that even tension on all the strings means that no string dominates the others. This works. I'm going to make my own set of 11's for my other guitar, since D'daddario doesn't make one yet.
D'daddario, what else needs to be said?
No more expensive than anything else, but value is tough to evaluate, but I will buy these again.
