Special coating extends string life dramatically!

Gauges: 12-16-24-32-42-53.
EXP Coated Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings provide longer life and increased durability coupled with the brightness, clarity, and sensitivity you've come to expect from D'Addario strings. Here is how it works: An ultrafine layer of EXP coating is bonded to the phosphor bronze wrap wire which is then wound onto the hex-shaped core wire. The result is a built-in barrier against the corrosion and wear that can quickly sap the life out of your strings and your sound. And since the EXP coating is crosslinked to the wrap wire prior to winding, the strings sound fresh and bright. New-string tone lasts 3 to 4 times longer than traditional guitar strings.

D'Addario is the world's largest manufacturer of strings for musical instruments. Many top guitarists won't play any other brand. Regardless of your playing style, D'Addario has a set that's right for you.

They retain their brilliance long after similar bronze and brass alloy strings go dead. Don't wait for catastrophe, order several sets today.

Ive use DAddario Extended Play strings on both my acoustic and electric guitars. I was an Elixer fan, but they were too expensive & I kept breaking the G string. I don't play hard and there were no peoblems at the nut or the bridge. Problem went away after switching to the EXPs. Now they are the only strings I would buy! If a store doesn't have them...I move on to another or buy from MF. Same great price.

I've been playing guitar for many years - self taught - with playing habits that are very hard on strings. I have a tendency to cut hard at an angle with my pick, generally popping strings after the first gig. I don't have that problem with EXP's. They last - even with my guitar playing style. Highly recommend for people that are hard on strings.

Comments about D'Addario EXP16 Coated Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I used another brand for years till they started breaking and leaving my hands black. I tried these several years ago and was very impressed. They are consistent in sound strength and longevity. They pretty much stay in tune from hot to cold and I get 3 to 4 weeks of playing 6 to 8 hrs everyday. most other string a week. So these strings are very much worth the money.

Comments about D'Addario EXP16 Coated Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Ordered a Washburn WD100DL Dreadnought Acoustic after selling my old guitar to a friend, and these strings came already strung on the guitar. To each his own with the string sound they're looking for, but I personally hated these. These strings have a very thin and tinny/metallic sound, and I couldn't stand it. I am glad I ordered some Martin strings with my guitar because I immediately restrung it. (And I'm happy I did!)

I found these strings to have less tension vs. earthwood 80-20. Makes playing easier. The phosphor bronze strings have a little more sizzle but less bite than 80-20

Comments about D'Addario EXP16 Coated Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

These strings are clear and balanced on my Eastman acoustics. They have a fat bottom and clear trebles and they last for months for this semi-pro. I have been playing since the mid 70s and I was sceptical about coated strings. These came on my Eastman AC222 rosewood Grand Auditorium. I tried another brand but I came back to these strings. They have it all.

This brand of strings, were on my new guitar when I bought it. As a novice, I found them not too "painful" to get used to. They feel and sound good and stay in tune. I will continue using this brand. Great value for money.

I tried these strings to save money over the "e" brand. They don't suppress the finger slide noise as well as that "other" brand. I'll be going back.

I've always used D'addario strings but mostly on my electrics. What a huge difference on my acoustic! A very full tone not a "tinny" sound. At least on my acoustic
Which is not a high end guitar.
