OVERVIEW

Special EXP coating extends string life dramatically without losing that natural feel!

Gauges: .010-.010-.014-.014-.023-.008-.030-.012-.039-.018-.047-.027

An ultrafine layer of EXP Coating is bonded to the 80/20 bronze wrap wire, then wound onto the hex-shaped core wire. The result is a built-in barrier against the corrosion and wear that can quickly sap the life out of your strings and your sound. They offer natural round wound feel and will sound fresh and bright 3 to 4 times longer than traditional guitar strings.

80/20 bronze alloy retains flexibility as well as brilliant tone for many hours of hard play. Computer-controlled wrapping around a hex core ensures consistency and extends life. Many top players won't play any other brand.

D'Addario is the world's largest manufacturer of strings for musical instruments. Many top guitarists won't play any other brand. Regardless of your playing style, D'Addario has a set that's right for you.

FEATURES

EXP strings retain their brilliance long after similar bronze and brass alloy strings go dead. Don't get caught with dead strings, order several sets today.

I've recently taken up playing 12 string and I have used D'Addario strings on all of my guitars electric and acoustic. I won't use anything else.
The performance and sound out of my 12 is Super and playability is smooth. Coated strings were a good idea even though they are not hard to change it's nice not to have to change them too often. Highly recommended.

Replaced the old Elixirs with these strings on my 12-string Takamime. High G-string (0.008 in) snapped after playing just a few songs. Did not sound well either. Highs did not blend well with the mids. Bought Elixir nanoweb light 12-strings that sound fantastic.

Comments about EXP36 Coated 80/20 Bronze Light 12-String Acoustic Guitar Strings:

These are excellent strings for the money with a very good sound. A set usually last 5 to 6 months on my Yamaha before going flat. One set actually lasted a full year and I play that guitar every week. They are far better than Elixirs at a better price!

Comments about D'Addario EXP36 Coated 80/20 Bronze Light 12-String Acoustic Guitar Strings:

D'Addario EXP's are great strings, made to last a bit longer thanks to the EXP coating. In this regard they got it right and they do seem to have extended life. It is generally thought that phosphor bronze will outlast 80/20 strings. Perhaps there is some truth to that, but I very much like the sparkle that 80/20's give my Breedlove 12 string so I stick with them. Putting on EXP's allow me to keep that new string sound longer than I could with just plain strings. With as much hassle as it is to restring my 12 banger, the extended life of EXP's is surely appreciated. .

I haven't had these long enough to comment on their longevity, but I REALLY like their overall playability and sound, at least on my Taylor 12.

I have had these on my ax for 10 days now and they are all the equal of Elixers at a much lower price. I'm extremely impressed with them and look forward to how long they will last playing weekly on them compared to the Elixer's which usually lasted 6 weeks of regular playing. I do a lot of hammering which is generally hard on strings!

Comments about D'Addario EXP36 Coated 80/20 Bronze Light 12-String Acoustic Guitar Strings:

These are the only strings I'll use on my acoustic 12. Feel great, sound great, and last a nong time ... which is important since changing strings on a 12 takes a good little while ...
              Coating feels natural.
              No Problems
              Coated strings ain't cheap ...

Comments about D'Addario EXP36 Coated 80/20 Bronze Light 12-String Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I have been using these for about three years now on my vintage Gibson 12 string. They sound great, and last a really long time, which is excellent because re-string a 12 string is not fun.
