Retain the brightness and response of new strings 3 to 4 times longer.

Ultra-fine EXP coating on the wrap wire dramatically increases the life of your strings. EXP Coated Phosphor Bronze Strings provide longer life and increased durability coupled with the brightness, clarity, and sensitivity you've come to expect from D'Addario strings. Here is how it works: An ultra-fine layer of EXP coating is bonded to the phosphor bronze wrap wire which is then wound onto the hex-shaped core wire. The result is a built-in barrier against the corrosion and wear that can quickly sap the life out of your strings and your sound. And since the EXP coating is cross-linked to the wrap wire prior to winding, the strings sound fresh and bright. New-string tone lasts 3 to 4 times longer than traditional guitar strings.

D'Addario is the world's largest manufacturer of strings for musical instruments. Many top guitarists won't play any other brand. Regardless of your playing style, D'Addario has a set that's right for you.

Make the change today, you'll never go back. Coated strings RULE!

Comments about D'Addario EXP38 12-String Coated Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Last me around 2-3 months, 10-12 gigs. I don't usually think about changing them. After a while, I might notice I'll have to tune a string a few times during a gig and I'll remind myself to change them soon.

It's a pain changing 12 strings, so I really appreciate the length of time these strings stay awesome.

Genuine Phosphor Bronze sound with a promise of longevity. Only had them on for a week, so cannot speak for the longevity.

                Awesome Strings!!!

Comments about D'Addario EXP38 12-String Coated Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

                Love em!!!!
I love these strings. They have a bassier tone. Other stings I have tried sound tinny on the 12 string. These are worth trying. They were recommended by my luthier friend so I thought it would be worth a try and I sure am glad I did!!!
There are made to last a long time. They are coated in a specail way as to not affect the tone but keep the strings from corroding.
They are worth the extra cost because you won't have to change your strings as often.
