D'Addario

Superb tone that really lasts.

Gauges: 11-15-26-40.

Genuine phosphor bronze alloy retains flexibility as well as brilliant tone for many hours of hard play. Computer-controlled wrapping around a hex core ensures consistency and extends life.

D'Addario is the world's largest manufacturer of strings for musical instruments. Many top guitarists won't play any other brand. Regardless of your playing style, D'Addario has a set of strings that's right for your mandolin.

Features

They retain their brilliance long after similar bronze and brass alloy strings go dead. Don't wait for catastrophe, order several sets today.

Put these strings on the other night and both an E and G string broke right away.  Very disappointing.

Been playing mandolin in bluegrass bands for 30 years and have used lots of different strings. These are my regular strings until I am presented with a better value. I play an early 80's Randy Wood mandolin and love the sound, especially after the strings have deadened a bit... then I'm good to go for a month or more, depending on how many gigs I play.
