    Comments about D'Addario JS74 Stainless Steel Mandolin Strings Medium:

    I chose the D'Addario strings because a musician friend said thats the only guitar strings they ever buy I myself like Elixir but cheap price I said I will try them I put on my mandolin a few nights ago and I am guessing it is because they are Medium gauge strings and I am more use to light gauge but now when chopping a G Chord I get this horrific string rattling with my top G string and the strings are very thick but I will take the blame for that one should've noticed they were Med instead of lights but bottom line is I just don't like these particular strings

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
