Fine product but poor availability.

Comments about D'Andrea 358 Guitar Picks Teardrop Celluloid Jazz One Dozen:

Ted Greene recommended I began using Fender Medium Jazz Picks back in the 1970's. I have used them ever since for electric and acoustic guitar. They were always consistent and wore very well. Two years ago I ordered several dozen of the Fender Jazz picks. When I received them something wasn't quite right. I couldn't exactly say what it is, but they didn't feel like they used too. The other thing is they wore out (rounded off) very quickly. Recently I read that D'Andrea used to make the Jazz picks for Fender, but around two years ago, Fender decided to have the pick made overseas. Suddenly this explained everything. I ordered a pack of the .71m TG358 and received them today. My gosh, what have I been missing. This is the pick I used to use ! It has the same shape, slightly pointed, same thickness, and great feel as the ones I was using up to two years ago. For me, this is the Holy Grail of Jazz picks, and D'Andrea is now my pick of choice.

I used to use fender jazz in the 358 shape, but they have become poor quality in the past few years. These guys used to make the 358's for fender back in the day. they are so much higher quality than the fenders.

Comments about D'Andrea 358 Guitar Picks Teardrop Celluloid Jazz One Dozen:

I've always felt that a thicker pick gives better sound and over time I preferred the smaller sized "Jazz Pick". The celluloid Tear Drop Pick slides on and of the strings and smooth as silk and the sound is awesome.

Comments about D'Andrea 358 Guitar Picks Teardrop Celluloid Jazz One Dozen:

I like the 358 celluloid as much if not better than the Fender version however an extra heavy version in a larger tear drop (354) shape would suit me better as I play in a Solo Duo-Style.

The Pro Plec has all the absolutely correct shapes but no punch or clarity for classic turn of the century style music. I would say it lacks vitality of tone. Still, they make great practice picks but again fall short in
        a live, un-amplified performance.

Creating an extra heavy 354 and or 651 in celluloid would be most welcome. I would certainly come over to D'Andrea in a New York heart beat as they get along well with either Thomastik or Pyramid mandolin strings on my vintage round and flat back instruments strings.

Comments about D'Andrea 358 Guitar Picks Teardrop Celluloid Jazz One Dozen:

Being a female, I have smaller hands. I've always been uncomfortable with standard size picks which are basically made for male hands. So, early on, I discovered and have been using jazz picks. I don't care for highly flexible picks; they command too much attention while I am playing, and the same goes for firm picks. The best for me, the size of my hands, and my playing is a medium. D'Andrea are a quality pick that delivers uniformity from all of their picks in each range; for me that is the mediums. D'Andrea medium teardrop picks are just right for all my picking needs.

            Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt. Everything arrived in good condition. I was able to use these picks right away. I haven't had any need or reason to contact customer service.

Comments about D'Andrea 358 Guitar Picks Teardrop Celluloid Jazz One Dozen:

This is the one and only Jazz pick to use. It is not made of cheap import plastic, so it flexes just enough and lasts a long time. I started using Fender Jazz picks years ago, and believe D'Andrea made these picks for Fender at that time. D'Andrea continues to make a great product, that enhances the tone, flexes just enough, and does not chip.
