    I have these in yellow and orange, and a similar brand in green. I liked the sharp shape on these for picking faster songs. The faster the music, the thinner I like the pick, and the orange are great for playing for contra dance music. I use the green ones for slower, mellower tunes with lots of tremolo, and the yellow ones for in between tempos.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    For a mandolin pick I greatly prefer these to the standard celluloid teardrop. the stiffer, more porus material makes attack stronger, and grip tighter. I think that Dunlop's Tortex picks are a tiny bit superior, but not enough that it makes an enourmous difference. And call me shallow, but I like the color options af this pick better than most.

    I know Jazz players love these small picks, and this might be blasphemy for those guys, but I bought these picks for my 11 year old daughter just because they were small. Now they are her favorite pick, and her picking has gotten cleaner and more controlled because of the perfect size for her hands. Weather you play jazz or not, if you have very small hands, you should give these a try.

    This is a great pick. It feels great and its nice to get away from that bulky pick that I normally use. With this pick it's like your not even holding a pick. Also, this pick was made for speed and and accurate picking. This is the pick for me. Try it, you won' be let down.
