Great strap. But it only works on certain guitars. I works on my Washburn WB66 bass. But it won't go on my Stratocaster. The strap hole needs to be just a little larger. This is about a 9 or a 0, depending on whether it will fit on your guitar. I went with 2 so you would read this review and be forewarned that the strap might not work for you (See "features" section). They really should offer this with a larger hole and/or include the hole size(s) in the description on the MF website.
To be fair, I'll admit that this may be a great strap for your guitar. Measure the diameter of the strap knobs on your guitar. If they're even the tiniest bit over a half inch across, do not order this strap. You will not be able to force he knob through the hole in the endpiece, and even if you can, the maximum diameter of the smaller circle of the hole (the "locked in" position) may not fit around the part of the knob its supposed to hug.
If it works on your guitar (See "Features" section), this strap is a real bargain at this price. I probably won't even return it since the purchase price isn't worth the postage and hassle. If I could use it, I'd be perfectly pleased with it.

D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps Black

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

These were poorly / incorrectly manufactured and could not be placed on any of my 5 guitars. The locking end openings are too small to fit over any guitar strap buttons. I tried them on Fender, Epiphone, Gibson, Taylor guitars and they would not go on any. I called CS same day I recieved them and ask for a return authorization . I was given a credit and told to discard the defective straps. It's almost as though these were made for a toy guitar or no one ever bothered to see if they could actually be put on a standard guitar. I highly recommend some one at MF try for themselves to install one of these and they will quickly see the issue and hopefully discontinue these before another customer mistakenly buys them.

OK, I bought a few of these sometime ago. And yes, they will not fit on a low of strap buttons, And if you force then on (or try to), you'll break them.

One my Gibson Les Pauls, and some other guitars they fit fine. Are durable and eliminate the need for strap locks.

How do you know if they will fit your guitar ... weii, I have no idea!

    Locking Nylon Strap

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

It's a good buy. Just get out your solder iron
    to make the hole larger.
    It fit's when you're done.
I had ordered locking straps in years past... These were similar.
Not a good buy since I had to enlarge the plastic hole so it could
fit the guitar & lock in place.

Yes, it finally fit but only after enlarging that plastic hole with
a soldering iron to melt it open.

The hole needs to be bigger. My locking straps I bought from
    Musician's Friend a few years
ago was a different brand & it was quite large. Not problem with
the strap locking. I still have those locking straps.

If the manufacturer could enlarge the hole, customer satisfaction
    is assured.
    Very well made.
A locking strap is a cool thing to have.
Nothing to be done to guitar,
Just snap on & it works.

Good strap for the price. The head did not fit my strap knobs so I took the knobs off with a screwdriver and put them on through the back of the knob and screwed the knobs back in. This does make the straps a little more permanent as well as more locking. The strap itself is more than adequate for the job and I don't fear the guitar slipping off.

Tired of Reading the Reviews that Say these straps do not fit on your guitar! Unscrew your Strap button, the end of your strap button is Bell Shaped for a Reason. Put the Strap on under the Bell and Re-Screw your strap button back into your guitar. After you re-screw it back in then lift up on the strap which will lock the strap in place and I promise you it will not come off! I love these straps and I have bought a bunch of them for my guitars and my students guitars. Acoustic Electrics that have the 1/4 jack plug that doubles as your strap button is the only guitars that don't fit this strap... But most straps don't fit those jacks anyway... You don't have to be a brain surgeon to figure out how to use these straps...

These were to be used as extras "just in case..."Straps. I found that the 'LOCKING' ends did not lock because they did not fit on the pins. Not on any of my guitars or basses, It seems that the slots are too small for any size pins. Musicians Friend took them back without a problem.

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

This is a very clever, simple design that works extremely well. The locking tab at each end of the strap are made of pretty beefy plastic and seems to lock the guitar?s strap button very, very securely. Once it?s locked in place, I would find it hard to believe that the guitar strap button would accidentally come out. Unlike other more expensive strap lock systems where you have to change the guitar?s original strap buttons (and can only use it on a guitar that has those new buttons), you can use this strap on any guitar. Just slide the tab over the guitar?s strap button, lock it in place and you?re ready to go. For the money, you cannot beat it.

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

The plastic ends on these straps are worthless. The holes on the ends only fit on one of my guitars and the retaining piece broke when I put it on. The plastic ends on the Musicians Gear straps sold for the same price are of much better quality and design.

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

I bought this strap, hoping for a cheap, effective way to hold my guitar. I got this, and had a hell of a hard time getting it over the buttons on my Epiphone G-310. I don't think this was designed for all guitars, seeing as how it bent when I pulled it into the lock. It still works, but now it's enlarged and won't transfer to my other guitar. All in all, a good solid strap. But buy a few if you own more than one guitar. At this price, though, that's not too hard to do.

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

My brother, who hardly ever plays his guitar, had me order this strap for him. In fact, I play his guitar more than he does. Anyway, from reading the other reviews, I guess I didn't put it on correctly, though the way I did it, there is no chance of the strap coming off the buttons, and no risk of breaking the plastic ends. When I went to put the strap on the guitar, I noticed that the hole was too small to fit over the buttons. My solution was to remove the buttons from the guitar, put them through the strap, then screw them back onto the guitar. I thought I was done with it because there was no way the strap would come off the buttons since the hole was so small. I didn't realize that I was supposed to have pulled the strap back to snap the tabs over the button to finish locking it into place until I had come on here to read the reviews. I tried that, but once again, the button was too big to do this, so I have just left it like I had it. It looks king of weird, but it is functional, and I haven't had to worry about breaking the plastic tabs the way so many other reviewers have done. The only real complaint is that the strap is short. I usually play with an Ernie Ball nylon strap which is at least a foot longer. When I borrowed my brother's guitar last week, I was constantly reaching to adjust the strap only to realize I was already at the end.
