I've used this product for 7 years now, 100's of shows on an acoustic guitar during the summer tourist season on Hilton Head. This is, by far, the best quality and most versatile pick I've ever found. Whether it's shredding leads or long rythm runs while you stand and sing ... this one's my choice. Give it a try ... you won't be disappointed.

I own some these and have yet to figure out what is so special about them. The feature of supposedly being able to adjust the thick/feel of them by where you hold them so far to me is a load of BS. Neither myself nor several other experienced guitarists have been able to detect anything more than the absolute smallest of differences, and those differences are not large enough to make a change in your playing. Now do not get me wrong, as this is not a horrible pick... It plays nice and releases the string smoothly, but I do not see anything special and get the same response using a dunlop stubby. If you're looking at buying a thicker pick buy these or for that matter buy another brand but do not buy into the hype and purchase them because of the marketing. Decent pick but not all its cracked up to be!

I have been using these for a year now after using tortex 60mm for over 20. I am amazed at the improvement it made in my sound and my playing. The edges are perfect unless you do a lot of pick scrapes. They last way longer than the tortex. I will order another 100 pack in who knows how long. Totally worth the price.

Comments about Dava Control Guitar Pick (100 Pack):

Thease picks are great for strumming and single note picking. The best of both worlds. Very nice grip only adds to the experience. It's the best pick I have used. If you are thinking about trying them, just do it.

    Best pick i ever had!!

    By Red Lion

Comments about Dava Control Guitar Pick (100 Pack):

First time I ever had one of these was when I trying out a guitar and the sales dude "lent" it to me to try out. Well he forgot that I had it and I have to say I love this pick! I am a lead guitarist and I love it cause it doesn't slip or move around in your fingers. It offers the player an awesome degree of control and bite on the strings. Now that I lost the pick I have to order some online cause no shop here has them.

Possibly the best pick ever made

Comments about Dava Control Guitar Pick (100 Pack):

Alright... So I used to think that the Dunlop Jazz III was the best pick ever. It could do it all. The Dava Control can do it all and then some. It's great for just strumming or shredding of all types. It's not the best for speed picking, but just turn it to the rounded edge and you're fine. Holding this pick, I feel like it's glued to my fingers. The grip is fantastic. Because of the thin center, it can be used as a thin pick and also a thick one if you choke up a bit. And I'm sure we all know how after you play with a thin pick for a while, it bends to the shape of your thumb... This does the same, but it's so much better with the grip. The most comfortable pick I've ever used. Definitely a great buy.

    Great for acoustic...

    By Picky Pickerton

Comments about Dava Control Guitar Pick (100 Pack):

These picks are great for acoustic playing. You get the flexibility of a thin pick and the tone of a heavy pick. Hold the fat end for flexibility while you're strumming and hold the middle for stiff picking the solos. Obviously you wouldn't want to use them for black metal or shredding (as was said before)- if you want to have fast alternate picking and trilling, get something thick and solid. They're also very easy to hold onto if you use them correctly. The only drawback is the price. It hurts to lose these things.

Comments about Dava Control Guitar Pick (100 Pack):

These picks are perfect for acoustic playing. You get the best of both worlds. Flexibility for strumming and stiffness for picking solos. My only beef is with the price. If you play hard or have a tendency to loose picks, the cost of these things will become an issue.

Comments about Dava Control Guitar Pick (100 Pack):

This is my favorite pick to use. I have been using these for about 2 years, and the only complaint I have is that this tip one my last one is afflicted and it catches on the string sometimes when picking upstrokes. Everyone should try these. They feel and play and sound amazing and nothing can top them.

Great pick, but not my favorite

    By RJ-yxSpN

    from CANADA

Comments about Dava Control Guitar Pick (100 Pack):

it's my favorite pick to use when just practicing, but when im playing live, i tend to use heavy guages and hold really loose, so i used herco thumbpicks so they don't run away from me. these are insanely good, better than dunlop IMO, but i just drop them too fast and for the price that's not a good thing

READ NEGATIVES IN ALL REVIEWS B4 BUYING!

    By Danie Powers/POWERS COURT

    from East Alton, IL

Comments about Dava Control Guitar Pick (100 Pack):

Grabs the strings, turns around in your fingers, difficult to hold onto (read that in several reviews AFTER buying them). Heavy top and flex bottom isn't good for ICED EARTH and black metal rapid-fire type strumming AT all. Doesn't move smoothly across strings, catches strings, snags and slows down your picking/strumming. Only good for soloing for the most part also if you strum ALL the strings vs. the top '2'. I recommend PICKBOY POS-A-GRIPs but they're nearly impossible to find now (thus this experiment) and they're expensive when you do + generally you get major attitude from dealers if you have any questions.

    Pretty Good

    By White man-lCX7r

Comments about Dava Control Guitar Pick (100 Pack):

Ive used these since i started playing and they were so weird at first, but once you get used to them you dont really want to use another one. There's something i dont like about them, i think it is the fact that i use heavy strings and they bend. They have a tendancy to grab the strings and fly out of your hand (depending on how oyu hold it) but doesn't happen to me anymore

Comments about Dava Control Guitar Pick (100 Pack):

I've started using these picks a couple of years ago. I found them when I went on a search for a pick that would slip (got tired of drilling holes in every one I bought) I regularly play 3 hour gigs with these & almost never drop one. The only time I don't use these or their big brother (DAVA Master Control) is when I finger pick.

Comments about Dava Control Guitar Pick (100 Pack):

The best grip I've ever seen. These picks don't drop very easily. I would however, like to see them with a very slightly heavier tip but that's only because I prefer heavy/extra heavy picks. It's crazy how much little chunks of plastic can cost but these are worth it.
