Light-gauge flexibility, heavy-gauge durability.
Dava Rock Control Picks feature premium celluloid, which was first used in the 1920s to imitate tortoiseshell and is a favorite of blues and rock players today. 1mm-thick tip ensures a long life. Dava's multi-gauge grip lets you change pick gauges on the fly--simply choke up on the tip for a hard gauge or release the flexible center section for a soft gauge.

The flexible rubber grip snags on the strings when I play and interferes with playing. Otherwise the pick sounds great.
This pick needs work. First of all, it's very uncomfortable to hold. The second thing is that, while you can 'adjust' the amount of flex of the pick depending on how you hold it, you can still forget about really fast playing. Fine for everything else, though. Finally the yellow tip just isn't enough. I'm more often picking with the black grip rather than the yellow tip which clicks on the strings annoying.
Great feel to it. Never felt so comfortable. However, the yellow ones wear out very quickly. After a couple of hours, they becomes unusable if you don't file them down. Never had such pbs with a dunlop for example.
I like the grip on this pick and the fact that you can get it to behave like both a thick and a thin pick depending on how you hold it. I have used better picks for speed-picking but those have not been good for strumming, too. This one is.
Been using this brand of pick for years. I first played the Dava control in Australia at least 9 years ago and was amazed by the design and concept.I exclusively play this rock control on my present tour of the USA, it holds up to my playing demands and has a great grip. The yellow also stands out, which is easy to see.Great for pinch harmonics, too.It Rocks out.
I'm only 13 and this pick is barely enough for me and my band to handle. It is very durable. It's better than every other pick i have.
