Comments about Ddrum Mercury Series Double Tom Stand:

This is priced like DW 3000 series but build, performance and weight easily compares to the 9000 series. I've had them all. The solidly-built top platform makes this heav-y. The weight is the only drawback especially for a gigging drummer. Otherwise a good value. The photo shows it holding a 10" snare, an Alesis PercPad and a 16" crash on a DW dogbone with boom arm. But I have used one to hold toms and cymbals. So my review is based on broad-ranging use. Note odd post size: a Gibraltar 12.7mm memory lock has to be tightened all the way but the arm/post is way too big for a 10.5mm lock.
