This case is exactly what I wanted well balanced and the fit was perfect for my T-Wing, this guitar has been with me for a long time I felt I owed it a case worthy of it's service, the locking hardware is great. Everyone has made great comments about it other musicians notice stuff like this when the novice may not. When protecting my equipment I always buy what is best for the guitar, and this was it.

Although this is a good looking, stylish case, there are some issues:
Quality Control is lacking, as mine came with a loose hinge.
Dean apparently does not make a case with the correct fit for the "thinline" type acoustics (like "Exhibition" series). So I got this, which too deep (the neck is thus angled up against case front.

i got this case today and it is beautiful!! the leather is really nice and it seems very durible! it is also pretty heavy but im not complaining if its gonna protect my guitar more! the inside is very nice and padded with soft material. everything is great about it except one thing. I have the Dean FM Exotica guitar, and it is a very large accoustic guitar. the case fits the guitar but you have to force it some. it doesnt seem like it will hurt the guitar but it is really tight. also the padding on the lid that closes down on the guitar has a strip that goes over the strings which is pretty thick making it hard to shut. im thinking about trimming that part down or maybe just leave my guitar in and let it wear in. but overall, very good!

-The case is heavy. Yes, it is. I love that. It's heavy, and built well. I would rather carry an extra 5 lbs and be secure about the safety of my instrument.My Dean Exotica FM fits the case perfectly, with half an inch to spare on either side (even the side with the electronics). That was my primary concern, as I bought this case for my Exotica FM. It fits fine, no forcing at all, and the case has a soft plush lining that cradles the guitar exceptionally well.Well, I just got this so time will tell but it seems solid and the stitching feels well done. I suppose it depends how much abuse your case sees. For the price though I'd be willing to bet this case stands up extremely well against others in the price range.So while nothing rated a 5, the value is great, the workmanship is fine, and if you're looking for a boutique case kep moving, but for an all around good value to protect your Dean, this is a fine case. VERY happy with my purchase. Overall a 4.5.
