Crap.
I used to buy DM's years ago, but haven't bought them in a long time. I decided to get these based on price. I top wrap my Les Paul and it took three sets of strings to get a set on my guitar. With the first set, the high E broke at the ball end while tuning. The second set, the B string broke, again at the ball end. After playing for two hours, the G, B, and E started corroding and turning black. I guess I'm back to GHS.
Three sets to get one good set.

I recently broke a string on my Fender, and dreaded the thought of the expense of replacing my strings with the same strings I had on it, so I went to the good guys at Musician's Friend and was amazed at the amount of low-priced strings available. Using the reviews of the string selection, I selected the 2504 LTHB Nickelsteel strings, both because of the reviews and because of their price. I figured at their price, if they were crap, I would not have wasted much money. What a surprise! I had been wasting money all these years on my old strings, because these sound great! No buzzing, great tone, and they stay in tune for a long amount of playing. I know which strings I will be using from now on!I have never been disappointed by Musician's Friend, and this is just one more time they saved me money while providing great quality!

These strings are the GREATEST strings that I have EVER bought. I don't ever plan on switching to a different kind again. These blow Super Slinkies out of the water. They are noticeably thicker, but you get used to it. These strings also eliminated the string buzz my guitar was having. When I plugged into my amp I also noticed a MUCH STRONGER output and crunch. They literally make your guitar louder through an amp. I HIGHLY recommend them to anybody who plays heavily.

I'm a pro utility musician that plays Keyboards and Guitar in a few of my bands. I have a Les Paul Deluxe with mini humbuckers. I was the typical D'Addario user, but I was in need of a change. I picked the Dean Markeley Signature Series LTHB 10-52's I do like the extra beef you get on the low end. I play mostly classic rock, Led Zep stuff and these strings handle DADGAD and normal tunings perfectly. My last set of these stayed on my guitar for 5 months! They are incredible and feel great. And The price... you better buy a case of them!

Thease strings have a good rock sound to them, but they rattle a lot. they are good strings if you are looking for somthing cheep, but I would rather have Ernie Ball over thease.

This are great strings. My brother has these on his Telecaster and they have great intonation and sound. They stay in tune pretty well, too, so you don't have to worry about them during shows. Great overall strings!
