The compact design allows easy transport in a pocket or gig bag. Large LCD screen with needle type meter and bright indicator LEDs make the CT-40 easy to read. A built in metal kick-stand makes the CT-40 easier to use on a table top. Includes two AAA batteries.

Most of the cheap ones I have tried have not had the quality and features of this one, I didn't keep any of them. I bought this one as a gift and kept it. Ha!
It has a pop-out stand, I wish they all did. The lights that indicate sharp and flat vary in illuminosity to illustrate the degree the tone is sharp or flat. I wish all tuners did this, as well. I own another chromatic tuner, lacking those two features, but otherwise equal, and it cost more 10 years ago.
This tuner was immediately accurate. You can tune to the lights and needle or it can also play the tone and you can tune by ear.
This is the cheapest tuner of this quality I have seen. I didn't need one but it is handy for any instrument.
