OVERVIEW

Give your acoustic a huge, accurate sonic boost.

The DiMarzio DP136 Super Natural Plus is an acoustic guitar soundhole pickup that goes beyond ordinary-sounding pickups with incredibly crisp treble, tight bass response, and patented 60-cycle hum reduction. This combination allows acoustic players to deal with real-world situations where feedback and weak sound can be major problems.

The pickup is encased in a plastic cover molded to look like dark rosewood, including the wood grain. It installs easily beneath the strings. Shock-absorbing foam lines the inside edges of both mounting brackets keeping the pickup in place and protecting the soundhole. There are individual adjustable poles for each string and the built-in 12' cable is thin and light. The Super Natural Plus also features a slide volume control for easy adjustment while playing.

Recommended for all steel-string guitars with soundholes measuring between 3-11/16" and 4-1/8" in diameter.

Comments about DiMarzio DP136 Super Natural Plus Acoustic Guitar Soundhole Pickup:

I bought this for my Burswood acoustic guitar. The guitar sounded great by itself and I wanted a well priced, yet good sounding pickup that you can just mount on the sound hole. I found the DP 136, read reviews and listened to a demo and I liked it, when I got it, I hooked it up and I couldnt hear anything, it said on the review that the pickup had a very low volume, so in order to get a decent volume I put the gain on my amp higher and it worked. It sounds good but not the best, and what is very neat is the volume slider on the pickup which not a lot of soundhole pickups have. I would recommend it to anyone but the only problem is the low volume.

Comments about DiMarzio DP136 Super Natural Plus Acoustic Guitar Soundhole Pickup:

I purchased this pickup for my D-15 and a small Johnson amp just to see what kind of sound it would produce and I am very pleased. The high E-String was a bit louder than I thought it should be, but I was able to adjust treble on the amp and the screw adjuster on the pickup to get the sound I wanted. I'm very happy with this pickup and plan to purchase another one for my Takamine!

Comments about DiMarzio DP136 Super Natural Plus Acoustic Guitar Soundhole Pickup:

I have had this pickup for just 2 days but am very pleased with the ease of installation and great sound. It was put into a Washburn acoustic electric and I plugged both systems into separate channels on my acoustic amp. This allows a unique blending of the two pickup systems and it gets very close to some of the new Hybrid guitars I have tried out and this guitar with both pickups cost me a small fraction of the new Hybrids. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Comments about DiMarzio DP136 Super Natural Plus Acoustic Guitar Soundhole Pickup:

This pickup is great. Very natural sounding. It picks up all the subtle things. Fingers slideing, softer struming, etc. The volume control is usefull to stop feedback on the fly.

Comments about DiMarzio DP136 Super Natural Plus Acoustic Guitar Soundhole Pickup:

After the stellar reviews I bought this for my Tacoma dreadnaught. It barely produced a sound through my pa. I may have gotten a dud, but this thing is going back asap. Very disappointed. I realize this isn't an active pickup, but the output on this thing is ridiculously low. Pay the extra bucks and install an active pickup - this thing just doesn't cut it!

Comments about DiMarzio DP136 Super Natural Plus Acoustic Guitar Soundhole Pickup:

I have used this pick up for about a year now. It has really good acoustic sound. The only problem I have had with it is the volume control is noisy when you adjust it. Great sound, though.

Comments about DiMarzio DP136 Super Natural Plus Acoustic Guitar Soundhole Pickup:

Purchased this many years ago, still going strong. The
volume slider is very good. No EQ on pick up, so that has to be done on your preamp. I have used this with a Fender DG-16-
12 acoustic and Carvin Cobalt cedar top. Sounds great with both. Plugging Fender into a Digitech RP 355 thru a Behringer Vintager AC 112(both MF purchases) you can replicate fabulous electric 12 string sounds. Oh yes! Beatles to Byrds to Eagles.

Comments about DiMarzio DP136 Super Natural Plus Acoustic Guitar Soundhole Pickup:

I bought one of these for a Washburn dreadnought 18 yrs ago, liked it then, but sold it with the guitar. Bought another to use in a '71 Gibson Gospel and found the adjustability a major plus. I'm currently using it on a Fender mid '80s 12 string through an Acoustasonic, and I couldn't be happier. I'm looking to get a jack installed on the 12 and eliminate the long cable, making the pickup a permanent part of the guitar!
