Billy Sheehan has used the original DiMarzio Model P and Model One bass pickups for many years. Because of the demands Billy puts on his system, DiMarzio made several modifications to existing models in order to deliver even more of what he wanted. These are the exact pickups Billy uses in his signature Yamaha basses.
The DiMarzio DP145 Will Power Bass Neck Pickup is very deep-sounding with great low-end definition. Its dimensions are the same as the Model One, but it's a little louder and fatter-sounding, and pole piece spacing is slightly wider for better string alignment with long-scale basses.
The DP145 pickup is humbucking with 4-conductor wiring.

Easy to install, great powerfull, clean and deep bass sound. I have made a "cheap" Epiphone bass into a light and fast playing instrument ! I should mention that I also added a "super-hipshot-3-point-bridge"....very nice "team"

The DP-145 fits perfectly in the screw-holes of the old "mudbucker" and together with a "super-hip-shot-bridge" make a perfect team, the sound is clean and clear and very deep bass, I converted a "cheap" Epiphone into a nice light and easy to play bass !
