    Good tone but I thought it would be a little hotter.

    Comments about DiMarzio DP402 Virtual Vintage Blues Strat Humbucker Pickup:

    Bought this to replace a dead bridge pickup in a 98 Mexican Standard Strat. As I stated earlier I thought this would be a little hotter than the single coil it was replacing. Overall I'm satisfied with the tone I get out of this pickup and I really like the fact that it's super quiet. Again, unlike the single coil it replaced.
    Not many features. It's a stacked humbucker. Pretty easy to install if you can use a soldiering iron.
    Seems well built. It's a very quiet pickup so that's a plus.
    Not too expensive. It got the job done at the price I was willing to pay.
