Cheap piece of junk.

Comments about DiMarzio Tele Pickup Selector Switch Knob:

Cheap piece of junk. I wish these reviews had been here before I ordered mine. The plastic is extremely brittle and and the bits on the inside that hold it on to the switch snapped off during my first rehersal with the guitar.

Waste of money

By Kiluhs

from Boston, MA

Comments about DiMarzio Tele Pickup Selector Switch Knob:

I lent my Telecaster to my brother and when I got it back, the knob on the pickup switch was missing, so I ordered the DiMarzio replacement knob. First of all, the knob is about twice the size of the one the guitar came with, so it's a bit unwieldy. However, the real problem is that as soon as I tried to fit it on the metal switch, the plastic pieces inside the knob that grip the switch snapped off while applying barely any pressure. The plastic is extremely brittle. I might be able to glue the pieces back in place, but it'll be very difficult.
