A vibrant string that glows.

NEON is the second in DR's SuperStrings series. Super bright in daylight, and with stage lighting. DR's NEON strings are so bright in appearance "they look like they are on fire." DR's NEON strings shine brightly under stage lights, and are 100% black light active so they glow strongly under UV lighting. And DR's NEON sound as good as they look. As Joey Clemment from Selena Gomez said, "Yeah they look great, but they sound incredible!"

Comments about DR Strings NEON Hi-Def Yellow Bass SuperStrings Medium 6-String:
(I did have a large paragraph, but I guess I deleteed it...)
Anyway, these are worth every penny, you won't be sad to look at the colors, I'm sure they shine in black light, and they sound great and are affordable for strings that last as long as these.
10-These look great out of the package, didn't peel off any color while weaving them through my bridge, they didn't come out of tune extensively. I haven't gotten to use a blakc light on these... I don't just have them lying around at gigs, but these strings are supurbly brilliant. I can see them across the room in the dark. Gladly, they don't separate the cones in my eyes like some of DR's other colored strings. What I mean by that is that they are super bright-looking, but they aren't going to mess up your eyes staring at them for long periods of time. (Like how when looking at DR's pink strings for more than 5 minutes made the colors separate in my eyes so I saw not pink, but red and blue separating from the center of the string.)
These are very consistently wound for hand-made. I was actually very impressed with these. I can't say that these feel the same as uncoated, but the difference is almost nanoscopic. It makes the strings feel a tad bit smoother.
These strings were absolutely amazing to put on and have them tune up about three times and then STICK there for weeks. I did have some problems with minor tuning here and there, especially because I use a low G1 to A1 (depends on the song) on the B string, but these strings could handle it with flying colors. In general, the strings all have a very nice balenced tone. The high strings aren't super crunch and the low strings have deffinition.
However, I had to make some tweaking through my head because there was a small lack of highs from the lower string.
But still being new to semi-professionally putting on strings, I may have forgotten to clamp them because of the round-core. If that actually makes a difference, ignore what I wrote about them not having highs. The other DR colored sets I used had amazing tone to them, and I had some one else put them on for me.
Worth every penny. Leave it that.
