I had to switch from the Dunlop .71mm to the Dunlop .73mm, because I can't seem to find the 71mm anywhere. This .73mm is unbelievable when it comes to strength and endurance, and with the flexibility of a medium pick. It feels a little stiff in your fingers at first, but the results are the same as a medium pick. Trust me, you have to try these! Amazing is the only word I can use to describe this Dunlop .73. I used to swear by the Dunlop .71mm, and I wouldn't use anything else. When I purchased the DUNLOP 426P ULTEX ROUND TRIANGLE .73MM, it was like night and day, the 71mm just did not stand to the endurance of this pick. This pick is number 1 in my book now. Thank you so much for research and development Dunlop, you guy's have been doing your homework.

best picks I have used, I switched from the tortex picks which I had used for 10+ years. These ones are more durable and easier to grip. Only down side, they are about impossible to see when you drop them so expect to lose some.

I like the ULTEX pics and used to use the standard shaped pick. Lately, I've changed to the rounded triangle shape and like it a lot better. I drill 3 holes in my pics for a more secure hold. Wish they would make them that way, but great picks and won't break.

I've been searching for that perfect pick ever since I can remember. I simply can't play with a regular shaped 751 pick. These triangular picks are great. There is something about the surface that gives me an excellent grip and they seem to be very durable. Like every other pick that I own I modify them by taking less than 1/8" off the pick all the way around making a smaller triangle. I have the tools to make them perfect. A final polish on the edges with a dremel and Watchmaker's plastic polish and they look like they were made that way. The .73 is perfect for electric and the .60 is just right for acoustic. For the mandolin I use the .60s in their original full size. These are easily the best picks that I have found so far.

I use the .60 for lighter strumming and the .73 for rock. I sharpen the tip with a file and these picks are so durable that they keep the sharp tip as they wear down! They are the longest lasting picks I've ever used. They are crisper sounding than celluliod picks. Also, the Dunlop Ultex picks are always perfectly flat, and the Clayton Ultems are never perfectly flat. Each edge has a slight random warp, so the tip may be twisted or bent in one direction. But that's never an issue with the Dunlops.

I use the .88mm rounded triangle picks, simply because .88mm doesn't come in standard size. That being said, standard sized picks do sound different from their rounded cousins. The standards sound darker in comparison to triangles of the same gauge. Keep that in mind.These picks are very crisp sounding and makes your notes sing, too. Articulation is a 10! My artificial harmonics pierce the air and come off at will.I really don't wanna use any other pick than Dunlop Ultex. Tried a load of others and this one eventually won out.

I've been a user of the Dunlop "Tortex" 88mm (green) for years. Never had an issue with them until I joined a progressive gospel bluegrass group and I needed more pick control. I came across the "Ultex" 88mm because of there size and they still provided me that fimiliar "Tortex" feel NOW with better pic control. The only modifications I made with them was to slightly file down all of the pointed areas in the entire pack. Other than that, THESE PICS ARE GREAT and I can really feel and hear the difference! Thanks Dunlop! :)

Not clacky, not dull, doesnt break, wears down slowly, GREAT GRIP! Only bad thing is the price, a little much, but definitely worth it!
