I am admittedly not very nice to gear, and anything that can put up with half a decade of abuse from me is an impressive piece of equipment. If you are a fabric strap kind of person, then you'll love it.
Fairly standard as far as straps go, but it is made of a very durable material, and the leather ends are much thicker than most straps in this price range and stay on buttons as well as a strap without locks can.
Extremely high quality. This strap has put up with 5 years of serious abuse and still looks almost brand new.
I would have gone through about $30 in Ernie Ball straps at this point, so I think the slight investment in this strap is completely worth it.

This is a great strap, it's well made and even though it's a tight fit to get it on the guitar, once it's on there it's not going anywhere.

            Gets the job done

            By Old Ancestor

            from The Swamp

Comments about Dunlop D-38 Celtic Guitar Strap:

Dunlop straps are a great value. I've never been willing to part with 60 bucks for a high-end leather strap, so I can't compare, but it's hard beat these for price-to-quality ratio. They're solid, very durable, and comfortable. I agree it's hard to fit the ends over the strap pegs, but once you get them on, that sucker isn't going anywhere.

            NOT CRAP-They are Great!

            By Bass21

            from Minnesota

Comments about Dunlop D-38 Celtic Guitar Strap:

This is another fabric design for the same Dunlop strap. THEY ARE GREAT! I have owned many, many straps, and played for over 10 years. They are heavy duty nylon that is NOT too stiff after a little use. Edges are round, doesn't grab your shirt, heavy leather ends. And CHEAP!! Just a great Strap, I own the grey celtic design. Don't worry about your strap BUTTONS, EVERY ONE should be using Dunlop Strap locks, they are great, are better for your strap, and keep you from ever having your guitar or bass pop off the strap. Great Strap.

            Solid and smooth

            By On Backorder

            from Coastal California

Comments about Dunlop D-38 Celtic Guitar Strap:

The Comfort Edge is a rounded hem that softens the corner and adds rigidity both along the strap and twisting. It's a solid and smooth feeling across your back unless you prefer to swing your axe around a lot.And what a nice, intriguing pattern--neither plain nor garish, just an understated touch of cool color. Name brand quality so as for the price, you can make up your own mind about that.

            Crap

            By Anonymous

Comments about Dunlop D-38 Celtic Guitar Strap:

This think is a piece of crap. It's way to rigid to be comfortable, doesn't fit over most strap buttons with out excessive force, sure you guitar won't fall but you'll never get the strap off again, and the thing broke after 2 or 3 days. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, i would recommend getting a sued strap for a little bit more, but much more comfortable and reliable

the only strap i will use

            By InUrHead

            from Vancouver, WA

Comments about Dunlop D-38 Celtic Guitar Strap:

I love this strap. I bought it as my first strap and loved it. I thought that since this was a cheap strap I would be itchy but it isn't. The edge and inside is soft and comfortable enough to play shirtless. Also its so sturdy I don't think I will need another strap for a long time.

            One great strap!

            By Punkjammer22

            from Roseburg, OR

Comments about Dunlop D-38 Celtic Guitar Strap:

This strap is awsome, but then again Dunlop makes good stuff. The Celtic look is cool, but any of the straps are good. When you first buy the strap its REALLY stiff, but once you use is a while is gets bendy, so its all good! The ends will NEVER break!!! BUY IT!!!!!
