Comments about DUNLOP PVP102 MED/HVY PICK VARIETY (12 PACK):

After years of off-and-on playing, I decided I didn't want to go back to my worn super-thick Big Stubby or dirty-feeling Gator Grips.
Buying a variety pack helps you discover what you want in a pick.
I've become a huge fan of the 1.14mm Gator Grip (the edge isn't as rounded as the 2mm) and have now decided that I will be buying a pack of the heaviest Max-Grip Nylons I can find.
The Ultex Sharps are nice but take some getting used to, and the Jazz 3 is sweet but a little small for my strumming, for my tastes.
Even Dunlop's basic picks in Ultex and Tortex are nicer than your basic penny-bucket picks.
There's even a standard heavy celluloid pick, for comparison.

My one complaint is that the Jazz 3 is the thickest one in the pack at 1.3mm. I would have at least wanted Jazz 3 XL, or the 1.5mm nylon, or something.
