I've used this pick for going on two years. I tend to abuse, lose and chew on my picks and of all the ones I have, these have held out the best. The tones I get with these picks are cleaner and brighter than with others, even within the Dunlop brand, and the picks just feel better in my hand. I've used them with both acoustic (Ibanez) and electric (Fender Stratocaster) guitars, and love that I can use the same pick without it snapping or sounding tinny.

I got these picks a few weeks ago and they aren't the best. The Picks I received where pourly molded, Little nubs of plastic snagged my skin as I played, you have to file down the nubs to get them right, Other than that they are Pretty good picks.

Comments about Dunlop Gel Guitar Picks:
These are the best picks ever. Outstanding grip and tone, and barely any resistance for fast players. I'm a bassist and a guitarist, so I chose the Heavy ones, and I thought the thickness might slow my playing down, but not at all.
Outstanding pick.
Comments about Dunlop Gel Guitar Picks:
Excellent product that I would highly recommend.
My challenge was I wanted a thicker pick so you don't get that flex while playing which makes playing articulate difficult. But other thick picks have that rounded edge which deadens/muddies up the sound. I also like the traditional larger pick size of Fender. The Gel solved my problems. I play the heavy to extra heavy versions but can still get that crisp ring and harmonics of a thinner pick when I need it - especially with distortion. But you also get the bass too. The other advantage of these picks for me is that they make playing effortless especially when playing fast. I play fairly light so I don't have the wear issues on these. Great product. If you use the sides of this pick - you won't believe how fast you can play - it will be your fretting hand that will have to keep up. These picks changed my playing for the better.
Comments about Dunlop Gel Guitar Picks:
I found one in my stash and I vaporized it down by a good 1/4" after only 10 minutes on Power Slinkys. It made me feel like I was Dick Dale. Might be ok for melodies, but if you're rockin' some chords, you're going to waste your money.
Comments about Dunlop Gel Guitar Picks:
Dunlop never lets me down. These picks are great. They have a different kinda feel and with the X-Heavy it gives such a deep powerful sound. They look cool and the gel texture gives it great grip and feels nice.
Comments about Dunlop Gel Guitar Picks:
I picked on of these up off the ground one day and later realized it was teh greatest pick ever. they tend to slip out of your fingers sometimes, but other than that, great picks
Comments about Dunlop Gel Guitar Picks:
Man,I've used every Size of guitar picks, but these are awesome.I use the Medium-Light Picks. (.73mm)I don't like Picks that are so thin that they snap or any pick that's over 85mm.Some how I don't Lose these Picks as much as any other Picks. The 2 Awesome things about these Picks is,#1:the color is green and goes good with my Guitar,#2:the numbers 3&7 are my favorite Numbers and the Medium-Light picks I use are 73MM!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!! sorry if I sound like a little kid,but man,it's like a Gift from GOD!!!These are Good for any thing:Tremolo picking, playing clean and smooth, and many other things!!these are like-my new favorite all-time picks.and they're so cheap!Overall:best for the Price!!
Comments about Dunlop Gel Guitar Picks:
These picks what im most used to what i started to use when i was learning they dont last long but when you are playing these picks seem to flex better than any picks i used before, and the medium lights are good for doing solos but like i said they dont last long
Comments about Dunlop Gel Guitar Picks:
i bought a dozen over a year ago (XH yellow) and have yet to see a "splintered" effect. they just wear like normal picks. smooth sound, great grip (better for me than the textured nylons even). i play them on electric, nylon and steel acoustic. i have no problem playing very aggressively on the steel acoustic either. i am very happy with these picks.
Comments about Dunlop Gel Guitar Picks:
The Dunlop medium gel picks are my current favorites. I play with a light touch, and I find these to have a superior attack and feel. The Delrins and Tortex picks just don't feel right to me. I also pick with a pick + fingers technique ala Richard Thompson, and these picks don't fight me like others do. Top marks.
Comments about Dunlop Gel Guitar Picks:
These don't last long at all. They tend to splinter and wear out pretty fast. Stick with the Fender 351's or the Gator Grips. These will do nothing but disappoint.
